ARC Hotel, Washington DC, Series by Marriott

The property location is really convenient just a 5 min walk to Whole Foods and other good food and we felt really safe and were very warmly welcomed by the staff. Erica and Eskindir were especially helpful during our short stay.

The staff were good. Always could use brighter lighting. Good for a short stay. Centrally located if you’re doing college tours, which is what we were here for. overall I’d say it was good.

I was charged at the hotel after I already paid on here. I was charged $205.00 dollars after paying Expedia and a mandatory valet for$55.00 dollars. Not impressed. I live in MN and this is ridiculous. My rent is due today. The woman working at the front desk was not someone I could understand. Or maybe this would not have been a issue.

Clean room

One issue - elevators very small and quite slow. It created bottlenecks, especially when cleaning crews were using them with their carts. One cleaning person + cart = full elevator Everything else was very good, I'd stay there again. Just leave a few minutes extra to account for potential elevator wait time

Nice place overall. If you want the 4 seasons you will not be getting that. If you want a reasonable price, clean place with in walking distance to George Washington University or restaurants this is a good choice

Great Location. A couple issues after check-in, the TV wasn't working and the AC wasn't really working either. We let the front desk know and they resolved it that day. On street parking wasn't bad, scooter and bicycle parking was close, 7-11 a block away. It's really close to George Washington University and a quick scooter ride to the National Mall.

The stay was okay. The cleaning was subpar. The shower leaked throughout the bathroom even after adjusting the nozzle, the carpet was crunchy, and the snacks had little variety.

Clean room, daytime staff excellent, breakfast is not included but is a 7-11 type breakfast did not use parking. Within close walking distance of many good - reasonable places to eat. This is in the university area - did not encounter any safety issues but just be aware of your surroundings!

The weather was hot, but the room averaged 75-80. This was miserable. Staff was informed, but no action. Other rooms were 66-68. We had to repeatedly ask for additional towels, but they never remembered. However, the front desk staff was very helpful with information.

Breakfast was items like at a convenience store that could be bought. Not really nice at all.
