Residence Inn Washington, DC/Foggy Bottom

Llegué a la 12.30 pm, me registraron pero no pude entrar a la habitación porque me dijeron que no estaba preparada. Sin embargo, al regresar a las 15.45 pm, otra persona de la recepción me comentó que la habitación estaba preparada desde que llegué la primera vez. Honestamente, me molesto mucho este tipo de actitud por parte del equipo del hotel.

This hotel was excellent! VERY clean and kept-up with, great amenities especially in the kitchenette. The suite rooms were excellent. We booked two rooms and they ensured they were side by side and connected, which was so helpful. The breakfast was also great. Very short drive (and doable walk) to most monuments. Overall a great experience!

Had a great stay. Super close to the metro. Breakfast had so many options. Staff was great. Kitchen was basic in our room, but had what we needed has a family of 6 to cook meals in the evening. Whole foods is super close as well for groceries. Would stay here again.

Overall the stay was nice. We were only there for 1 night so we didn't have a lot of time to explore the amenities of the hotel. The one major downfall was having our room keys deactivated an hour before we had to checkout of the room. This made it extremely difficult to get our personal property out of the room and into the car. We ended up having to leave one adult in the room so that the rest of us could get back in because we could not get it all out to the car in one trip. I was also very disappointed with the number of charges that needed to be paid at checkin which were not disclosed when we originally booked the room even though a phone call was made to confirm the reservation and it could have been disclosed at that time.

The layout of the room was fine, the kitchen floor needs some cleaning, it's too bad that there was no Nespresso. The machine that was there wasn't really clean. Did not use. There's no fan in the bathroom, no little bottles of body cream, the hand soap was just awful. We were very surprised to see paper plates and plastic cutlery for breakfast. What happened to Residence Inn's...lack of class to be honest. When we came down for breakfast, nobody asked us our room number and our names. Never seen that before in other hotels. Also, the breakfast area is so close to the front door of the hotel that anybody can literary come in, no questions asked. Why not serve the breakfast at least till 10am on Saturdays and Sundays! The location was great, close to the Metro, but aside from that, will not be staying nor recommending this property.

Really enjoyed our stay here. One block from the subway, convenient access to everywhere. Staff were really polite and helpful. Loses a star because there is no pool and because the washing machines were broken.

My stay was great overall, thanks to the excellent breakfast and incredibly helpful staff. However, parking was a significant issue. The hotel charges $70 for parking, and street parking is extremely difficult to find nearby. The cheapest alternative I could find was $40, but it required walking about a mile, which was quite inconvenient.
