Everything was great. My only suggestion is that - sadly the pastry nook is closed. There isnt an option for a coffee bar complimentary. I had to get coffee from the restaurant for my partner when he was sick- I bought two coffees so he would not have to make a trip and it was over $20 for a couple of coffees (I got one). I was like - this is kinda silly. And parking valet is the only option if not on the street parking and that is $65 a night. So it was wonderful but - it would be great if those little things were complimentary. The food was good at the restaurant. Not great but good. The best thing besides the view from our room - was the staff is very good. Everyone is VERY good. Maybe I could say - they are great. The lady who checked us in - the cleaning team- anyone I asked for anything - the doormen (doorpeople) - the people in the restaurant and bars. Very good staff. The hotel is a little "dated" but I hope it stays kinda retro because it is a historic hotel. I just hope they somehow do something even if they have to add $20 a night to the rooms - to have the valet parking be free and give the visitors a free coffee barn downstairs. My room only had one coffee cup and no milk so making coffee in the room did not work.

Valet- not included on Expedia app, so it was extra 65 a day (overnight) Room Service- very good. Food add one overpriced.

The staff person, Sarah, was very helpfull and friendly. She not only showed her caring for guests but also was willing to solve problems that occurred during our stay at the Watergate hotel. We appreciated her hospitality and caring.

The staff was very quick to respond to our requests. Room was cleaned very well each day! Check in and check out was very quick. Valet was also very quick . All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. If we were to ever visit DC again, we would stay again 😊

We had a wonderful time at the Watergate hotel!! We were treated very nice. We got there early and our room was ready and they let us in. Also they held our luggage for us while we did some things the day we were leaving! We were also treated wonderful at the Kingbird restaurant there in the hotel! The outside of the hotel needs a little help but looks like they are working on that but the inside is beautiful! We would definitely stay again! Please book your stay there!

I consider the Watergate a 4 star (not 5 star) hotel. It is usually very fairly priced. The rooms are excellent. The Kingsbird restaurant for breakfast is superior and the service excellent. I had this terrific Chamoix beer that was one I've never had that was originally kegged in a bourbon barrel. I was there for two nights for a conference there. It was excellent for the money.
