Overall it was good. Not very good, just good. The room was moderately clean.

The location was great, access to the metro and near the mall was very good. The hotel staff was very nice. Initially the two different buildings were confusing but once we navigated that, it was no problem.

Our regular room with one King Size bed wasn’t ready when we arrived and they automatically upgraded our room to a comfortable 2 queen bed suite with kitchen. The staff was very accommodating and accessible.

Solid stay. Large room that was nice. Very comfy beds. A little outdated, but still solid. Very convenient location.

The hotel is older but well maintained. The maids were prompt and thorough. We left a tip the third morning for the maid, thinking it was the same person all three nights, and were chagrined to see an older gentleman, not the woman we'd spoken with previously, coming towards our room. I hope they have a kitty or a pot to share tips as some wait staff does at restaurants. I will consider this hotel on future trips to Washington, and will keep my antennae up to be on alert for anything unusual at the front desk.

The room were not bad, however I did find dried blood on the sheet. I called housekeeping and they gave me a night off my reservation as a result
