Nice stay, clean room, lot of space

The bathroom was bright and modern yet still maintained the same charm as the rest of the property. The hotel was convenient to walking to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Breakfast was fantastic and the dining room had a beautiful European-vibe. Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved this charming, older hotel! Yes, it had a few quirks that were characteristic of its age, but was well cared for and super clean. The location was perfect: within walking distance to the museums and monuments on the mall, and within a quick walk to many restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Lombardy! My kids and I had an early arrival time on Friday. We went straight to the airport just to pre-check in and drop our bags. However, we were pleasantly surprised when they said our room was already ready!! At 9:00 am! Every staff member we came in contact with was kind, helpful and friendly. The location was great— walking distance to restaurants and honestly a really easy walk to the White House! I highly recommend this hotel. Spacious room, beautiful, historic charm… it was perfect!

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly (valet helped carry in our bags in a downpour). The room was much bigger than we expected. The best parts though were the charm of the building and the location. I rate based on the total value of the stay, and this place was outstanding for the price we paid.

My daughter and I went to Hotel Lombardy for 4 nights and the staff is TOP TIER. Everyone is so helpful and needs a raise! Patrick at the front desk was so kind and we CANNOT say enough positive things about Mohammed the waiter in The café. He will forever be apart of memories about DC. The only thing I can think of that was a down side was they have small kitchenettes but no utensils in them?! It’s sad because we brought food and wanted to eat it but couldn’t until the next day because there was no utensils and same thing no coffee pots or microwaves in the room. Switch is sad especially when you have food from their own café and can’t warm it. But overall it was clean and a wonderful experience there I would still recommend it to others BUT would definitely warn them about the kitchenettes.
