Red Roof Inn Washington, PA

Rude staff, dirty grounds and room, assistance animal/disability discrimination. No room service or clean towels unless you beg for several days. They are also just kniving and rip you off where they can.

3 different rooms 2 full of mold in bathrooms and walls peeling. Mold in heat/ac unit 3rd room paint falling and peeling off ceiling and smelled of smoke and smoke stains on walls. All 3 rooms dirty towel and dirty sheets and blankets. Owner and his wife were very rude and and elled when this was told to them and I asked grow a refund. I have pictures and a recording of the owners using foul language and slurs towards me. Recommend you stay far away unless you are there for some other reason. That is exactly what this hotel is a quick stay and go no tell motel kind of property or unless you plan on living there and calling it home.

I liked that it was close to the venue & the front desk clerk was nice. It’s a 2STAR hotel so don’t expect high end finishes. I gave it a 10 because it was exactly as described. It was clean and supplied with the basic toiletries. For my partner and I, it just wasn’t what we’re accustomed to, so we cut our trip short and won’t be making anymore trips back to that area or the establishment. The hallway to get upstairs spelled like smoke.

Room was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived early for a concert at EQT park and they let us check in so we could get to event. Super close to the park. Good food options in walking distance. Would definitely stay again. Not fancy, but a nice, clean and comfortable place to lay your head.

The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. My first room assignment caused my allergies to flare up. I asked for another room and I had no issues getting moved to a new room. While to rooms were updated the a/c unit was dusty and the shower caulking was mildewed in places. The vending machine didn’t contain water and the Ice machine was out of order. Fortunately, there was a convenience store within walking distance . I slept well and for a one night place to crash the accommodations were fine.

Check in was easy. Staff was helpfull and friendly. Room was clean and bed comfy. Rate was very reasonable.

Housekeeping was not helpful about getting an extra towel.The lady in housekeeping told my girlfriend that she had a towel in the room and that was it.

Checking in and out was easy.

Bed was hard as a rock and broke on one side so you just sunk into the bed and laid on the hard part. Mattress was hard and springy not soft. Room air conditioner was set and wasn’t able to change and set way too hot for my liking

Clean basic motel.

The mattress was encased in what appreared to be a bed bug mattress cover. The sheets had white "pinhead" things (eggs?) on the sheets. The towels looked like they had stains on them. The neighbors were up making noise until 11:30am and someone was drunk screaming in the hall at 3:am. I left at 3 in the morning and called for a refund.

I used to stay at Red Roofs when I traveled for work. They were so much better than this one. In the room the paint was peeling off the ceiling in a large area. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work so any odor came out in the room. There were 3 of us and there were only towels for 2. Got additional towels and they looked like someone had been working on a car with them. A lot of dark stains on them. Even the envelope for the room keys was used. It was worn and had a previous room number on it marked out and mine written on it. I would have cancelled and gone somewhere else except I had paid and could not cancel. I don't know if Red Roof hasn't checked them lately or if Red Roof has lowered their standards to this.
