Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterville - North by IHG

The staff at this property, sincerely made it a pleasure to stay at. While traveling to attend a film premiere, I needed to check in early and although my room was not ready, The front desk staff made it a point to be able to get me into a room to ensure I would make it in time for the premiere. The extra step meant a lot, and I would happily book again not only because it was clean and convenient to many locations in the Waterville downtown area, but because they made it a point to make sure my stay was pleasant.

My only complaint was that there was a musty smell from the bathroom every time we came back from an outing . It didn’t permeate throughout the room, just by the bathroom. I don’t know if it’s when you settle in and take showers, the bathroom being damp enhances the smell. Overall, our experience was really good. I would recommend.

Extremely clean. Looks like it was recently renovated. The staff was extremely helpful. The continental breakfast was hot and fresh. Only complaint is that there wasn't enough room darkening. The light shine from the outside business and parking lot as it peeked through the drapes made it difficult to sleep.

Room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Location was convenient to food and stores within short walking distance.

We often stay in a Holiday Inn as a family of 5 and we like that we can have a room with pull out bed. We were always comfortable. The hotel is awesome. However, for this location, the pull out bed was not as comfortable as the other. The mattress need to be replaced.

Room good size beds comfortable good hot water in shower. Breakfast very good. A lot of things to pick from. Near stores and restaurants.

The staff and location were nice. Did not realize there was so much construction in hotel at the time. Breakfast was not very good at all. The food tasted all premade boxed. Please get rid of the pancake 3D printer. It was so nasty! Normally there is plenty of fresh fruits and they only had bananas and zero varieties of breads for toasting. Also coffee machine broke three times and worker said o well Dunkies is down the street. See above

Everything was good.

We were here for a one night stay, passing through. We had a king room which was clean and comfortable. I like the fact that we had either firm or soft pillows on the bed from which to choose. There was plenty of hot water and thick plush towels. The breakfast was much more than expected: a large variety of hot and cold items--even MYO pancakes. Parking is safe and free. Several stores and restaurants are within 1/2 mile. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Check in was quick, rooms were very clean, beds and pillows were both so comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was top notch and the coffee was so good too! Would stay again :)
