Accessibility with a baby; room service; not far from highway

Lobby was beautiful, restaurant was nice, staff were kind. A bit expensive for the actual room, don’t think it’s worth $420 for the location. Also didn’t love the mildew in the shower. It overall the bed was comfy and everything else appeared clean
-
Clean and looks nice Impossible to sleep in the room. AC is super loud, which makes the room feel like you are sleeping in an airplane engine....
-
My guest didn’t have AC in his room, he was up most of the night trying to get it fixed with maintenance (no offer to switch rooms)
-
The room was absolutely clean the staff was helpful and friendly, and the bar was well stocked.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. Everyone was nicer than the last. Highly recommend Lockwood and Waterville in its entirety!

The dog/pet policy is $100 charge, more than what is stated on the Expedia website. Beware of this.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to free parking. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The room was large and very comfortable for our family of 4. The common spaces were inviting and elegant. We had a wonderful stay. The hand-held shower was very awkward to use (poor design). The air-conditioning in the room was a little loud and there didn't seem to be a vent in the bathroom to de-fog after a shower.

Staff were incredible . They were so accommodating and helpful. They offered services and comforts not found in many other places. Their kindness was greatly appreciated.

Loved the industrial design of the hotel, natural ME pine wood. Their website should note entrance is actually on Front Street, not Main. I went around 3 times until I found the entrance(parking across the street.) Copley College involved in the hotel, branch of their museum up the street. I went back to Waterville(childhood vacation), to go the Colby free museum, so great! All in all, Waterville is back and worth a visit. I noted to staff at hotel the bar staff, one young woman, should pay attention to the guests in front of them, not fooling around with a new recipe, ignoring everything else. I worked for The Ritz Carlton Co. over 6 years, it’s important you know who pays your paycheck.

The room itself was acceptable, and the location was convenient for my stay. I had an uncomfortable experience with one male front desk employee during my stay. He handled a routine policy issue in a dismissive and confrontational way, later made inappropriate comments about my private stay, and implied that a guest name could be flagged. The interaction felt invasive, judgmental, and unprofessional. Hotels should enforce policies clearly while still respecting guest privacy. I hope management addresses this staff behavior seriously.
