Fairfield Inn by Marriott Rochester East

I liked that the parking was free. I did not like that the front desk agent that checked me in could not tell me what side of the building my room was on.

We had ants in our room. They were crawling all over the coffee station. We had to throw a box of cookies away because of the ants. When I told the front desk, the lady was not concerned and blamed us because of the cookies. Very poor customer service.

Picked here just for use of hot tub, it was broke. The room ac was 74 when we entered our room. Didn’t go any lower then 70 and the loud ac unit ran all night long. Would like to have had a few benches outside, nowhere to sit. Room and breakfast was good.

While I wouldn’t stay here again, it was in an easy to find area and rooms were a nice size. The stay was ok, but the rooms were pretty dated and had a strange odor. The hotel was smaller than expected and the breakfast was awful.

Upon our arrival we were told by the desk clerk that he could not find our reservations for two rooms. These rooms were booked and prepaid. I showed him our receipt but was told that there were absolutely no rooms available. After much prompting on our part he called his supervisor who found us two handicapped rooms. Not what I had reserved so we were able to change rooms the next morning. Then I got a text from our credit card company that we had been charged $640.00 for a room that had already been paid for. Desk clerk couldn't tell me why he charged us that amount and told me to speak with the desk clerk who was working the next morning. She didn't have the authority to refund us the $640.00. Finally on the last morning of our stay the error was corrected. Anne who works mornings serving breakfast was excellent - the breakfast buffet was well stocked and she was welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Quick overnight stay while passing through town. Friendly staff. Comfy rooms.

Lovely, comfortable stay with bonus hot tub and pool.

Very clean and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be coming back again.
