Holiday Inn Express Wells-Ogunquit-Kennebunk by IHG

The property was conveniently located to restaurants and stores. 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate was nice. Included breakfast was nice to have. The room was very clean. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the sink in our bathroom was ridiculously low. The shower was better. The bathroom countertop had significant wear and was a bit shabby and the alarm clock was blinking 12:00 and could not be set but the rest of the room was fine.

The bath did not have safety features that would have been welcome. Grab bars should be a part of every shower, not just for those with mobility issues.

Clean room, helpful staff - housekeeping good! Breakfast clean area and yummy - need more bacon. Pancake maker fun and yummy. Coffee good. Grounds clean.

The person who checked us in was very pleasant and efficient. She also was open to answering questions about the area. The property was right next to Maine hwy 1. It is close access to I95. If you plan to visit Portland it is only about 25 minutes away. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. TV had more channels than I have ever seen at a motel, The free breakfast was excellent. The hotel doesn't necessarily have a wow factor, but is a very nice place to rest at the end of a day of sightseeing.

The staff at this Holiday Inn is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Property is well maintained, rooms are generally quiet. Grabbed breakfast on the way out. Coffee freshly ground is a plus, eggs, pancakes and cinnamon rolls (amazing) were a perfect and convenient way to head out early in the morning. Buffet is well maintained 👌. Overall, a great stay here.

I’ve been trying to get a refund for one day since I checked out early since the room was unsatisfactory. I have called and the hotel said you have to approve the refund. The shower needed to be fixed and bedding had spots. No other rooms available

The staff were wonderful and helpful! We loved the breakfast and the fact the hotel had an on-site laundry room!!

Great location, spacious and quiet

The breakfast was good with many different choices. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. There could have been a better view.

I have stayed here many times. It is a clean, neat hotel with free breakfast. Nothing great, but absolutely fine for a brief or somewhat extended stay (one week). The spontaneously opening shower door problem I mentioned in past reviews of stays had in this room apparently been fixed since there was a simple, non-disruptive fix which kept the shower doors in place without grabbing them in any way and making it hard to open. The water pressure is incredibly weak. You can brush your teeth but better spit right into the drain or you will have to clean the sink yourself. Whiskers will need to be washed out of the sink with a committed effort, not just washing them down the drain.

But I rated it OK because the rooms don't seem to be sound-proofed. It is very loud. You can hear just about everything going on in every other room as well as in the hallway (even with the fan on as white noise). Consider another option if you're sensitive to noise, a light sleeper, or night owl/early-riser.
