Great hotel, super helpful staff.

Old and creaky. No common room coffee in the morning. Busy WeHo party scene neighborhood

This is a three-star property and the experience is slightly better than what you would expect. Overall, it's very clean. It seems like they've made some upgrades in the rooms and it is a better experience than what I recall from a couple of years ago. The location can't be beat - it's right on Santa Monica Blvd. and a perfect spot to be in if you're enjoying yourself in the area. The price-point is very good considering the location. I've stayed here many times and will continue to do so.

Since this Ramada was on Santa Monica in West Hollywood (plus the cost), I was sure this was going to be a super nice hotel. The lobby was nice, but the room we were in was old and stuffy. Within the first hour of being in the room, there was a giant cockroach that I had to kill. So, that was a huge turnoff. The room also faced Santa Monica Blvd., and the windows must be pretty thin, as we heard nothing but cars and horns all day and night (for both nights). The shower/tub had stains, and it just wasn't what I would have expected. If you can find something comparable in the area, I would recommend it. It was horrible, but for the cost, I would have expected cleaner rooms and no cockroaches.

The hotel was convenient for our travel plans. However we didn’t like how many amenities were unavailable. The AC power button was pushed in, laundry machines were not completely set up, vending machines were not stocked, and the hotel room phone was not working. Wouldn’t be my first choice.

Great location close to a lot of restaurants and bars.

When we called housekeeping to request extra pillows, no one answered. We then tried calling the front desk, and again, no answer. We ended up having to go down to the lobby ourselves to ask for the pillows. To make matters worse, when we took our showers, the toiletries were completely empty. The only positive was the convenient location. Other than that, the experience did not meet expectations. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others.

The air conditioning was wonderful, the bed was comfy (pillows not so much), we didn’t use the pool - but it looked great and got afternoon sun. The staff were lovely, our check in wasn’t until 3pm, we got there shortly after 11am, our room was ready and we were allowed to check in for an additional small fee. Parking on site with in and out privileges was only $50. All staff were super nice and helpful.

The location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. And there is an Erewhon and Trader Joes within walking distance. The place was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. There's a parking garage right there for a fee. And an Uber ride is available within minutes, because of the location. If you are looking for clean, convenient and affordable in West Hollywood and just down from Sunset, then this is a great place to stay!

The pictures and descriptions on line at Expedia display a cafe restaurant and bar within the hotel. There was not either. Very misleading.

The hotel itself was great, the location, the room, the staff. The only problem was I was charged an extra night of parking which was already expensive to begin with, $50 a night. I was charged an extra night because in their system they saw that somebody had scanned the nightly parking pass which I had canceled. I was given an email to contest the charge, and I have not heard back from the hotel.

But if you want modern this is not it

It’s right in the middle of West Hollywood. Easy to walk to everything. Room had a great mirror. Nice balcony. Next to Trader Joe’s and erewhon. Fun

The hotel is not as advertised. There is no restaurant onsite and the pool area is not very nice. Rooms are very basic. The area is unsafe at night. Great location as close to sunset strip and restaurants however we didn’t feel safe at night. The bathroom door handle was also falling off. The rooms need to be updated.

Room was updated and clean. The shower had the best water pressure. Lobby is outdated. Staff was very helpful.
