Classic Rick and roll vibe. Very clean and staff is very nice
-
The location Rooms was really old and not updated
-
It is a great hotel with very nice staff that are welcoming
-
Too pricey! I would say it’s not worth more than 300 a night

Restaurant food and service were excellent. Property grounds beautiful. Room size and bed great. Room was a little dated however( closed tv system, no Nespresso, dumb mini bar/ snack system, decor 15 years too old),

I love the restaurant inside. All dish are very tasty and serving is wonderful. Also love the territory. It’s big and full of trees and flowers! My recommendation!

Make sure to take advantage of the incredible spa and restaurant on the property. People who live in the neighborhood come to eat and get a massage bc they both are worth it! They have a gym on the premises if u need a quick treadmill run or want to lift some weights. But…. I was blown away that they also offered a free pass to go workout at Equinox up the street!!! Yes… FREE! Nowadays everything is an extra fee. I even saw one of the twin brothers from Selling Sunset wrking out there. There r so many great restaurants within walking distance. And the bar on the premises is perfect to either start or finish ur evening. And one of my favorite things to do is laugh my ass off so being able to walk 8 mins to the Comedy Store was a really nice perk! Sunset Marquis has that nostalgic rock & roll feeling everywhere u look. It’s cozy and comfortable and the staff is top notch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that really wants to experience the neighborhood (bars, comedy clubs & restaurants) and relax and enjoy the pool, spa and room service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Restaurant and valet staff were excellent. Front desk staff lacked desire to make sure we were satisfied with the room situation. More interested in putting us in a room that suited the hotels desire and not the guest.

Staff are the stand out here. Friendly, accommodating, professional. Rooms are spacious for LA and suited us very well (we had a 1 BR suite) as we were traveling with an infant. The property is centrally located and is a calm oasis away from the bustle of Sunset Blvd. The on site restaurant is very good. Would happily stay again if traveling with family. The mattress in our room needed replacement, one side had a significant dent in it, making sleep less comfortable. The crib provided was simply a pack'n'play, which is functional at the most basic level, is rather low the the ground so is harder for lifting the child in and out.

Greta location, very friendly staff, restaurant was a delight and the vibe is great… and where else are you going to stay and bump into Alice Cooper?!?!

Despite a few hiccups during this stay, Sandrine took exceptional care of us and made sure we felt welcomed and appreciated. As always, we were greeted warmly, treated like family, and even received thoughtful upgrades that made our stay extra special. In an industry where customer service often feels transactional, the Sunset Marquis stands out for its consistency, hospitality, and personal attention. That level of care is rare these days, not just in West Hollywood, but anywhere. It’s comforting to know there’s still a hotel that truly prioritizes its guests and values long-term relationships.

Great spot for a longer stay.
