Lovely, helpful staff, fab location. But the hotel is dated and tired.

We liked the time and more that we spent at the Sunset Marquis

Wonderful hotel experience! The most relaxing place ever. We loved the space, the room, the pool, restaurant and late night spot. The staff really are the best part though, everyone is so nice and welcoming especially the bar/restaurant staff(John & Simone) and the bellhop team. Our only minor complaint was the shower - water pressure was not great, plus wish it was a walk in also. Other than that nothing but 5 stars - we can’t wait to go back.

This is a great historical property located in a beautiful setting. Well worth every penny!

New room is very nice. It's fully remodeled has nice bathroom and beautiful floors. It has nice comfortable bed and good sheets. My two cents about sleeping number one issue the mattress somehow most a lot when one person moves the other one feels it a lot. The second thing is, they have big feather bed that makes you sink real deep into the mattress which I liked, but it definitely makes you sleep a bit hot . The most important comment - air works great but pretty loud ! I had to turn it off 1st night as I had hard time falling asleep. Room got super hot. 2nd night I had to turn it on but had hard time sleeping. The last point - leaving car overnight is $68! I don't think the hotel is worth the money they are charging. Customer service and lobby is very meh ! We didn't feel welcome too club just meh.

I love staying here because it’s really lowkey and well located. The two pools are great, the property is lush and music studio downstairs is super cool! The rooms are spacious and the staff is so helpful and kind. I’ve returned twice and always have a great stay!

Only place I will stay in LA!

Clean room

A hidden gem, It was a last minute overnight get away from the kids and it was awesome. The staff was attentive. we had dinner in the restaurant and the food was great wide arrange of dishes, high quality ingredients and drinks are delicious. Would Definately come back again.

Restaurant food and service were excellent. Property grounds beautiful. Room size and bed great. Room was a little dated however( closed tv system, no Nespresso, dumb mini bar/ snack system, decor 15 years too old),

I love the restaurant inside. All dish are very tasty and serving is wonderful. Also love the territory. It’s big and full of trees and flowers! My recommendation!

Make sure to take advantage of the incredible spa and restaurant on the property. People who live in the neighborhood come to eat and get a massage bc they both are worth it! They have a gym on the premises if u need a quick treadmill run or want to lift some weights. But…. I was blown away that they also offered a free pass to go workout at Equinox up the street!!! Yes… FREE! Nowadays everything is an extra fee. I even saw one of the twin brothers from Selling Sunset wrking out there. There r so many great restaurants within walking distance. And the bar on the premises is perfect to either start or finish ur evening. And one of my favorite things to do is laugh my ass off so being able to walk 8 mins to the Comedy Store was a really nice perk! Sunset Marquis has that nostalgic rock & roll feeling everywhere u look. It’s cozy and comfortable and the staff is top notch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that really wants to experience the neighborhood (bars, comedy clubs & restaurants) and relax and enjoy the pool, spa and room service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Exceptional

Restaurant and valet staff were excellent. Front desk staff lacked desire to make sure we were satisfied with the room situation. More interested in putting us in a room that suited the hotels desire and not the guest.
