Rude at checkin. She treated me like I was stupid, not the case. COO of a company with a distinguished degree. Would not call the service number for provider of booking so I called and then the provider called the desk and spoke with the blonde associate and clarified what I was saying the entire time. Got to room, nothing like pic of selection. No fireplace or recliner. Wait staff very friendly at breakfast and beef hash was a good option.

On a road trip with no reservations made, we found the Fireside and enjoyed our Sunday night stay. Getting into the parking lot was a little bit of a challenge (a little hidden form the access road) but once there you found a wonderful rustic lodge environment, a beautiful waterfall and koi pond and very helpful employees. Breakfast was included and welcome. We didn't try the indoor pool and spa area but they looked lovely. Room was well appointed and beds comfortable.

I liked the view. The staff was helpful whenever we needed something. There were plenty of parking spots.

The building is in poor condition. Leaks were present. The pool area is in need of a major update. The hot tub was full of bubbles and foam, indicating it likely needs to be shocked or have the filters replaced.

The room was very spacious, it was clean. The staff was very very nice. We were disappointed because the restaurant was not open that night, which was one of the reasons we chose that property because we were getting in a little later and we wanted the convenience of being able to eat there without having to go out. It was an excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff was very nice there too. Not in the best location as it is across from a lumber yard, but you don't really see that from your room.

If you're there on a Sunday or Monday night, chances are they'll both be all yours.

We were very happy with the stay here. Pool area was clean, tables were a plus and hot tub was hot. Our room was very comfortable But we had many small ants in the floor in the room.

Newly renovated rooms were bright and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kids loved the fish and turtle pond in the lobby. Ample free parking and lots of choices within walking distance for shopping and dining. Easy access off the highway.

Room was comfortable and clean. Food was ok but not great.

How about washing windows first impressions are important..

Exceptional

Size of rooms and lobby , very open and high ceilings in pool area . Has ponds in side with fish and turtles. Bathtub was less than inviting , strong smell of disinfectant in room. Ceilings are suspended type in halls and room , ugly! Jacussi in need of tlc, paint.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel with our grandchildren( they love the turtles).. It’s clean and the staff are helpful.

Unique looking place. From koi Pond to the restaurant/bar everything had great eye appeal. The staff were very friendly.

It was being maintained. Breakfast selection was good. You could tell it was older, but they had a lot of staff working around maintaining various parts. The restaurant for dinner was. Very mediocre.
