Cambria Hotel West Orange

First person who greeted us was super rude. Second person wasn’t openly rude but wasn’t friendly either.

Everything about this property is wonderful. The rooms, the hallways, the restaurant, the check-in area, everything was clean. The staff is warm and friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay for the most part. The only issue I encountered was noise. There was some loud children in one of the rooms nearby. The noise wasn’t constant, it was just here and there.

Elevator filthy. Rooms run down. AC difficult if not impossible to adjust. Strange lights under bed strobing and had to cover up. Not a nice place

The room itself was clean and well maintained but without a dresser while there would be plenty of space for one. Noise complaints were addressed by the staff timely and oversights corrected promptly.

You have to call the front desk to request housekeeping to clean your room, which is odd. The beds were uncomfortable.

Very noisy and unattractive. You really didn't need to have a parking tag; why would anyone want to park there?

There are zero grab bars in the bathroom or shower !?

The hot water in the sink in my room took forever to warm up. Informed hotel at checkout.

It was an okay place for a couple of nights stay. We booked the suite room. Small bathroom and overall. Smelly carpet. The first night we couldn’t sleep because the room above us was too noisy. Nothing fancy.

There were strands of hair in the shower. Housekeeping did come and re-clean it, but lster thst night when we returned from our event, there were more strands of hair under the flat sheets. We told housekeeping manager the next day at checkout.

The restaurant and bar could use more help and better hours of operation.

Enjoyed my stay

I had to stay here for 5 days, 4 nights. On day 2 my parking pass blew out of my car. I went to the front desk to get another one. A woman was checking in. They gave her two complimentary bottles of water. I wasn't offered anything when I checked in the day before. I received a text on day 1 that on the 3rd day they'd make up my room. No problem. Well, that day came and went. I texted the number back and said, no one came. They texted back, they've been notified. Nothing. I texted that I needed towels. 3+ hours later, someone brought towels. I had to remove all the trash from my room and toss it near the ice machine. Yes, I could have called the front desk or went down to them, but they were texting me. So I went with that. I checked out this morning. Cleaned up the rest of my trash and left. It's not a bad hotel. Just don't expect any service and you'll be fine!

We did not have breakfast at the hotel

The location and space. There is trash in the hallways and at the building entrance. The trash was overflowing at the building's entrance. I was surprised not to see rats or roaches in the hotel.

i did not order breakfast. but the rooms were dirty, i found cigarettes butts and empty bottles behind the couch, the linen were stain (yellow) and i got charge for it the bed, were dirty the room were dirty

the indoor pool is not heated

Room was clean and spacious. Hotel was a quiet retreat after a long work day
