Springhill Suites by Marriott West Palm Beach

This hotel is not run properly, the rooms for king size beds are too small and not very clean, the pillows for the king size beds are too small and very uncomfortable. The housekeepers don’t speak nor understand English. The breakfast is very generic, not many options available, powder eggs mostly every day, coffee is terrible, had grains inside every single day, some days they didn’t have plates, cutlery and bowls available for the guests. The staff in the reception area are polite and friendly

The room was not clean when we arrived. The bathroom was dirty, the sofa had visible stains and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the overall condition of the room did not feel sanitary. The sink faucet barely had any water pressure, and the conditioner bottle in the shower was completely empty. We booked the room for four people, but only two towels were provided. The common areas were also disappointing. The sofas in the lobby were dirty, and the pool did not appear to be clean either. We traveled with children and reserved three rooms, and unfortunately all of us had a similar experience with the cleanliness. While the staff were pleasant, cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of a hotel stay, and this property did not meet even basic expectations. Sadly, because of our experience, I would not recommend this hotel. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the cleanliness of both the rooms and the common areas for future guests.

First time staying in SpringHill Suites and will definitely use this chain for future vacation stays. The property was clean, staff were very pleasant and super helpful! Also as a BonVoy member I was surprised with a 1 hour delayed check out for free! This location is within driving distance to many restaurants and stores. The kids loved the pool!

It was a very good stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s very family friendly. The suites are big. Breakfast wasn’t horrible the best thing was the waffle makers. Overall I’ll recommend and will stay again!

To make matters worse, we found a live salamander on the hotel floor. We safely captured it and took it to the front desk, expecting staff to handle the situation. Instead, the clerk stepped away and told us to “get it away” from him. Since no one was willing to help, we ended up taking the salamander outside and releasing it ourselves. After we reported these issues, the manager apologized and told us she was working with Expedia to provide us with a credit for our stay. Unfortunately, as of now, we have not received any credit or any follow-up communication. Between the dirty room, stained linens and towels, poor bathroom cleanliness, the unprofessional response to the salamander, and the lack of follow-through after promising to make things right, this was a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend staying here until both the housekeeping standards and customer service improve significantly.

Much more spacious than a regular hotel room, it was clean with a large bathroom and separate sink area. Breakfast was good with a lot of options.

Rooms are well maintained but I do find that sometimes the couches and curtains can be slightly dirty. Nothing disgusting, maybe it’s the fact the rooms aren’t super new. Overall a safe and reliable place to stay if you are playing at Cacti Park.

The hotel is dated and needs some renovation. The shower curtain was so short that water puddle formed by the toilet when I took showers. It had an old smell in the room and the breakfast was not the best. Would not stay again.
