The hotel is beautiful and chic, with a lake and sophisticated gardens. I loved the salsa evening in the bar. I disliked the plastic cutlery at breakfast. The hotel could do better in this regard for the price it costs.
-
Welcoming and accommodating from point of check in. It was a beautiful property well run and beautifully kept gardens . We loved everything WiFi and WiFi instructions unclear. Too bad it’s an unsecured network too.

Super peaceful and feels like a true vacation I liked everything
-
Everything was exquisite & beautiful The restaurant that you have to self serve yourself and they have so many workers. They can’t even serve the food into the courtyard and bust their own, but they asked for a tip.
-
A beautiful, calm place, everything is comfortable and pleasant. -

Parking and crowds were a problem.

The landscaping was lovely, we enjoyed walking the property and having lunch in various sitting areas. I would’ve liked for the staff to tell me about the options the property had. We found many in our own just walking around.

Gorgeous grounds

Everything was very nice Shower was very small

The resort was beautiful. I loved that we had a view of a small stream and beautiful trees from our balcony. The thoughtfulness of the resort was very welcoming, with a bottle of Champagne in our room and a sweet note wishing me a Happy birthday. There isn't anything about the resort we didn't like.

Stonehaus was lovely, but a bit chaotic in ordering, long line out the door then you pick up and bring it to your table. The food was very good and so was the atmosphere. We asked for a quiet room which we got, but then someone on staff placed a bunch of party girls in the adjoining room to us, which was a loud ongoing event till 3:00 AM. Soooo, that was very unpleasant. Maybe staff should communicate better.

The room was cozy and beds were very comfortable. Our room was clean and We stayed 2 nights and didn’t find anything we didn’t like ?

The staff at the front desk were very friendly nice and helpful. Love the pool and the vine covered arbors for shade on the sidewalks to get everywhere. Yoga was wonderful! The regular drip coffee at the Stonehaus was definitely lacking. Lighting could be brighter. Food and spa massage pricing were very high.

I loved the layout of the property and the service and amenities were great.

Food was mediocre

We ordered room service once and found it mediocre at best. The avocado toast was literally a piece of wheat toast with avocado and two slices of tomato — no seasoning, very dry, and lacking any real effort or flavor. The bathroom sliding door was also extremely difficult to open and close, which was frustrating and felt more like a maintenance issue than a design choice. One small but noticeable miss: it was raining on New Year’s Eve, and while heading to the onsite club we discovered that some guests had umbrellas in their rooms — ours did not. It’s a small detail, but one that matters at a property positioned at this level. Overall: Westlake Village Inn has a lot going for it, especially the location and atmosphere, but consistency is key. If all rooms were brought up to the same standard as the upgraded sections — particularly in terms of technology, maintenance, and room amenities — this would be a much stronger experience.

wifi is bad.

The grounds are beautiful. Easy access to food. The room was spacious. Single use plastic at the coffee shop even when dining in.
