West Worth Inn and Suites

We have stayed here many times and its usually fine. In fact, we are usually one of just a few rooms being used so its quiet. Its very conveniently located for us to visit our family. Its set off the road far enough that road noise is never an issue. Staff is always polite. This was a bad stay for us. They gave us a room someone was in, or it hadnt been cleaned. We opened the door and saw chick-fil-a on the table, the bed was undone, all the lights were on, and the bathroom door was opened a crack so we backed out as quick as we could. Went to the front desk and she seemed very confused that the room was occupied/not ready. She apologized and gave us another room. It was on the 2nd floor which I dont think is used often and definitely wasn't expected to be used that night. It has been over 100 every day in Ft Worth and the ac had not been turned on. We had a family get together the next day and had stuff to put in the fridge but it had not been turned on either so it took quite a while to cool down. The room was still at 90 degrees by 12:30am so we barely slept. We put a do not disturb sign on the door and cranked the ac while we were gone the next day so it wouldnt get turned off and maybe we would be able to sleep the 2nd night. With the ac on all day it was down to 75 by 11pm when we got back. Better but still too hot for us to sleep. It never did get any lower all night even though we had it turned down. Even worse, the bathroom light turns on the heater so even though we used cool water when we showered it made it SO much hotter in the room. I work in hospitality and understand things can happen, however after initally having given an occupied room I would have explained the new room wasnt expected to be used and given a warning that the temperature would be extremely high (obviously they would have known that) and I would have offered a discount without being asked. We have several more trips to Fort Worth planned from now until March and will likely look for another option.

The lady wouldn’t even allow early check in not even offer an extra fee and there wasn’t one vehicle in lot or a maid cart outside and she seemed to have attitude to me

The bed was big Everything else. Including the ADA violation of them asking me for my service animals papers which,legally, they're not allowed to do.

Roof over head. Dead roaches in lights, stains and holes everywhere, cigarette burns in the cover, mold and hair in the fridge that was dirty. Did not feel safe or welcomed.
