very nice rooms, well kept. The carpet needs replacing.

BUT. We had some maintenance issues with the toilet. We were told maintenance would come right away 4 times in 18 hours and no one came. We had to take the top off the tank and manually flush the toilet by pulling the wire!! After speaking to the manager… again..,they came and basically told my husband we weren’t flushing right so it was our fault. Really? He raised the water level but it continued to have issues. The way it was handled by front desk staff was very concerning. My husband spent much of our time there waiting for maintenance in the room! No one ever checked to see if the issue was resolved. On our last afternoon they asked my husband if we wanted to move rooms. We said no. We did not want to pack everything when we would have to pack early the next morning anyway. The restaurant, bar, concierge staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned but items we used like sugar and cream were not replaced. One window did not open. For the price we expected better. In fact, it was unacceptable.

View from our suite was a car park. Balcony had uncomfortable chairs, deadflowers and constant traffic noise. Basically unuseable. Took three days to get a restaurant booking. At the tiki bar every table had a reserved sign and most were empty. The upside was that room service was quick and food excellent.

Beautiful and convenient. Not too big so doesn’t feel crowded.

They provided a free shuttle for the airport and every hour drop off and pick up downtown. The drivers( Tim and Kevin) , valet, bar staff and receptionosts- all lovely. Special shout out to Matthew and Felipe at the bar. Thye made me a mean dirty martini.

Beautiful property fronting Whitefish Lake. Grounds were well kept with lots of flowers planted and in hanging baskets. Rooms were spacious with lots of amenities. Free cocktails of huckleberry syrup and sparkling water are offered at 5pm and free s’mores from 6-8! Food both in the bar and tiki bar was great! Beautiful pools annd hot tubs inside and outside. Beautiful exercise room also. Restaurant was full - we could not get reservations.

Staff and properties were very nice. Condo we rented had dirty towels in the washer and a dirty coffee pot but everything else was very nice.

We had a great trip here! We did have a couple of issues- faulty fire alarm and dryer issues however they were taken care of during the stay. We were overall pleased with our stay.

Onsite restaurant and Tiki bar are good options to relax in the evening. Like with many places in Whitefish both of these places are bit pricey for the food / cocktails they serve, but the quality is very good. It has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools / jacuzzis. Staff were very helpful and super friendly. If you want a scenic location away from the town and want to pay some premium this is certainly the place. This property is split across the road away from lake front and connected by enclosed walk way that connects the lake front building with the other part. So one big surprise / disappointment for me was that, this split was not obvious when I made the reservation and I got a rom in annex building. Even if I didn't want ( to pay for) the lake view room, I would have preferred to stay in the main building , not the "annex" which is surrounded by the woods, which doesn't have the same feel as the rooms /building on lake facing building. Except for this mismatched expectations for the premium I thought I paid to book a room in this property, it was a great place. The pictures listed in hotel listing DOES NOT make this split nature of the property very clear. So Just be aware of this layout of this hotel and book on the correct side of the property.

Staff was great, property was beautiful. Just wish the walls in the hotel were a little thicker, it felt like I could hear everything everyone else was doing in their rooms while staying in the Viking lodge. Or maybe they were just extremely loud. Would stay again though.

The property was inviting from the front all the way through. Staff was helpful. Spa was a great experience and food in the Boathouse was yummy.
