It was a very nice stay on the river.
-
All good—we took the shuttle to the airport from the hotel—ride was early and the driver Chris was really a cool guy. All personnel at the Hotel were good

Right on the river walk to town

Check in was a breeze. Staff was great. The pool and hot tub were lovely. Location was great. I took a star away because breakfast was sub par. The eggs came in a plastic bag that was likely microwaved then dumped into the dish. The sausage was weird and rubbery and the pancakes were more like crepes.

It was a very pleasant stay … Nice hot tub and pool …glad the kids can have fun in the pool …but 6 kids swimming and jumping and doing Calvin balls in the hot tub is ridiculous……make the hot tub for 15 and over no exceptions ….kids are not paying to stay and not filling out these reviews ….

Stayed here a few years ago and it was wonderful this time was terrible several issues outside was well maintained breakfast area was modern hallway carpet smelled room looked nice at first but found carpet was worn out and the spike tack strip was exposed cut my toe on it bathroom door handle was broken and woken everyone up at night shower was the smallest shower I've ever used toilet backed up the first night and had to unclog it ourselves since it was late at night then clogged again the next night called to have someone fix it and they sent someone next morning so we had to go downstairs to use the bathroom worked fine after it was fixed but realized the 5th day of being there that the toilet was leaking after seeing a floor mat turn yellow we originally thought it was shower water house keeping missed our room 1 day never fully replaced toiletries properly ther wer 6 of us and we never had more than 2 rolls towels were not replaced daily when telling the front desk of our issues they said the manager was on vacation and would get back to us but never did we drove from Chicago just to go back to this hotel specifically since our last visit was memorable

Nice clean hotel. Congenial, cooperative staff. Good complimentary breakfast. Very close to downtown Whitefish.

Our room was dirty. Floor in bathroom had trash and dirt behind toilet and under the sink/vanity. The back porch was strewn with sunflower seed shells someone had spit and the door mat out side the slider hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The bathroom soaps were all empty, we only had half a roll of toilet paper. The property is nice but should have better housekeeping and inspection.

The overall amenities of the facility were nice including bikes, kayaks, pool, weight room, hot tub, and game room. Our stay was disappointing from the moment we checked in. We did not receive the room we originally booked, and no one informed us that the hotel had been overbooked. We only learned this after returning to the front desk to question why we were given an incorrect room. At the very least, guests deserve transparency when the hotel cannot honor the reservation they paid for. Plus, no price adjust was received for incorrect room. The room itself had several cleanliness and layout issues. The coffee maker was placed on the bathroom counter, which is not where anyone should be expected to brew their morning coffee. The bathroom floors were not clean—dust bunnies in the corners and even a hair tie left on the floor. These are basic housekeeping oversights that should never be missed. Breakfast was also below expectations. The pre‑cooked folded eggs with cheese and the reheated sausages felt more like a quick convenience meal than a hotel breakfast. Overall, the quality was far from standard. In short, the lack of communication, cleanliness issues, and subpar breakfast made this stay far less enjoyable than it should have been. Transparency and attention to detail would go a long way in improving the guest experience.

Room could have been cleaned better (former persons key still in the room, hair in bathroom). Great location, cool amenities with free use of bikes, kayaks, etc. staff was great! Breakfast was standard fare.
-
Quick and easy check-in and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Room overlooking the river with a private balcony. My dog was so happy on the balcony in the sun watching the ducks and the paddleboarders.
-
The bedside telephone cradle was filthy. There were drinking glass water stains on the coffee table. Uncomfortable bed pillows. The bed was made up sloppily on day two. Breakfast was nothing special. Front Desk staff Beate was very helpful. The shower in the bathroom was a prefab shower unit that was patched. Hotel is worn out.
