Duck Inn Lodge

The room was quite comfortable, and the location is quite good. It is an older property and the grounds could use a little.cleaning up. But they were dog friendly, and that was great.

Room was comfortable and views of the river were very pretty The oversize bath tub was great Fireplace in the room was also great and warmed up the room very quickly but you can't control the temperature , its either on or off TV was very small The Lodge is ready for an re-do. Everything is dated and worn. Carpets are worn and don't appear clean Lighting in the corridors and bathrooms is very basic and not particularly welcoming. The neighbor across the river has string lights along the roof line that shine all night and even with the blinds in the room closed, the light still came in, which was irritating when trying ti sleep.

Loved the cabin feel of this Lodge. Excellent breakfast.

Quiet location off of the main road. Easy entry using a key pad no hassling with a check-in. Nice layout for breakfast.

Clean and comfortable room- good breakfast- and good location, a very short drive to downtown.

We loved our stay from start to finish! The staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating! We had a rough road leading up to our stay and they helped us out in a very chaotic situation. We highly recommend staying here! The location is gorgeous and walking distance to stores and food. The breakfast in the morning was very good and an upgrade from the traditional inn breakfast. Our room had everything we needed and was clean. We saw deer from our balcony constantly. You will be well taken care of here!

The inn was in a great location but wasn’t worth the money. Hotel and rooms need a lot of TLC although communication was great through emails and texts.

People friendly. Again, I'd stay just for the breakfast.

Nice location. Continental breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable.

We stayed in the room with the vaulted ceiling. We had a view of the Whitefish River right from both of our windows. Didn't realize I could have gone swimming right there. Saw kids in the water in the swimming hole. It was located close to everything but it was also like we were in the middle of nowhere when we got in our room. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Check in and out were easy and convenient. Nice breakfast area and very friendly people. The most important part for me is always the bed and it was so comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved the room. Privacy and views of river with small outside deck were great. Bed was comfortable- pillows not so much. The auto check took a bit to get used to but I liked it overall- breakfast was great. I will be back

Check-in is all self-serviced. There's a room map when you enter the lobby that's alphabetical, so know your room name before checking in to ensure it's easy to find. The room was clean. We enjoyed the balcony view and the wildlife we saw while there. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of books and games in the lobby. Staff was friendly and eager to help with anything to make our stay more enjoyable. What's unique about this property is there's plenty of privacy to get away from the crowds when needed.

The building is very old. The shower curtain was very dirty, with red discoloration at the bottom, and the bed made a squeaky noise whenever we turned over. We booked a “river view” room, but there was no view of the creek. Breakfast was good, but there were no hot food options. For over $200 per night, we expected better cleanliness, comfort, and some service.

The mattress and pillows need replacing. The room is in need of renovation as it is the same as it was 8 years ago.
