Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Wichita Airport

I’m disabled and I had a walk in shower on 1st floor. Grab bars in bathroom. Mini breakfast was a plus.

Very clean, friendly staff, breakfast was small but enough.

Room was great. Nice and cold. Clean. Beds comfy. Waffle maker at breakfast was near! Shower. The handle didn't match the original install and it was so difficult to turn the handle to adjust hot cold and on and off. Shower head sucked. Pool was small. Heated to 82°. Breakfast selection was extremely minimal and the eggs had no flavor.

Very friendly staff. Totally accommodating with a litter night last minute stay in the middle of severe weather and a flash flood.

Location was near freeway and stores. Too many things broken and not working. For example, the elevator close to our room was not working. I reserved multiple rooms in one of our rooms. The bathroom door didn’t close in another room. The stove didn’t work. Water got into our room from a leaking ceiling. The faucet in the sink have no pressure so when we tried to use it, it was drops coming out

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would say when you first pull in the property looks a little suspicious, but once you walk in it's very nice.

Checking in was easy..room was clean.

Breakfast was great and the lady that served the food was incredible. I wish I remembered her name but she works 6 days a week and does an awesome job. The room only gets cleaned 3 times a week. One of the days I put a staying in sign on the door until 11am and then I removed the sign and left. The cleaning lady was next door but never came to clean. So in 6 days we only got our room cleaned twice. We had dirty linen and trash cans full.

This was clearly an older hotel that was poorly renovated. The hallways were not climate controlled very well! Once in the room u could crank up the ac unit and get your room comfortable. Room was clean, but lamp on my side of the bed didn’t work, no exhaust fan in bathroom, taking a shower water liked to get past the poorly designed shower curtain making floor wet. Thus was starting to ruin the flooring in bathroom. We slept in till 10 so missed the breakfast, but found a wonderful spot down the road from hotel. I wouldn’t stay again at this hotel. For what I paid I could’ve stayed at a much nicer boutique hotel for a date night were we are from. But had to have somewhere to stay since we were in town for State track meet. But I was not impressed with this property!

Breakfast was decent. Property wasn't super clean, but the room was.

The suite we had was great, clean, full size fridge, small stove, microwave. The bed was comfortable and the pull out bed was easy once we found the bedding (bottom drawers of the dresser). The breakfast was fine, good selection. The waffle makers were awesome.

Great place to stay with families my kids had a blast in the pool and enjoyed the morning breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean.

Plenty of parking available. Breakfast served and it was good for a hotel breakfast. Our room (king bed) was clean and comfortable. All the amenities we needed were provided. Shower was very nice and enjoyable. There are restaurants nearby. There is also Walmart and Sam’s Club in walking distance. My only complaint was the pool. It was cold, and it felt like it never cleaned. Couldn't use it.

Great Hotel

Lobby was beautiful, loved the king sized beds but having a stove in the room next to the bed without an air vent was troubling. Couldn’t cook something without the room getting Smokey. The shower head was terrible in the tub. The water barely came out and I didn’t feel as clean as I should when getting out. There was only one working elevator that everyone shared and it was very out dated. The buttons showing the floors wouldn’t light up so you didn’t know if you were going up or down. Staff were friendly and the parking was good. Did not get the chance to eat breakfast so couldn’t really put a review on that.
