Bird Of Paradise Motel

Rooms were clean and great location. Across the street from pizza place and just a mintues from boardwalk walking

I contacted Expedia immediately requesting a full refund and they said it is up to Bird of Paradise's discretion. After explaining that this is a safety issue with a ground floor room unlocked with no one on the property for hours Expedia offered no other help. After speaking with four different agents over the course of text and phone calls for three and a half hours it is now a full week later and I still have not received a refund. I was left with no where to go at 2 am because both Birds of Paradise and Expedia do not care about the safety of their customers in the slightest and will do nothing to help when something is disturbingly wrong. Don't waste your time, effort, or money on this motel or with Expedia's lack of tact and suffer the way I have. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy, just everyone who was no help.

Place was very clean and just.pleasant to stay at.

Room & bathroom were very clean. The pool was refreshing & clean.

Very Basic Motel room. Old but pretty clean. Parking is terrible. If you take your car out of the lot to go somewhere, there is no guarantee that you will have a spot when you get back. I have never heard of a place that doesn't guarantee you a spot. Be prepared to UBER or Lyft if you want to go anywhere that is not in walking distance. Check in is not onsite but rather at another property 1/2 block away. No ice machine on the property but there is one at the check in property 1/2 block away.

not clean, impossible to get a hold of the staff, broken outlets couldn’t charge phone, only one lamp in the room and it didn’t work.

Tight parking but great location and price

Check in was not at the hotel. It was like a 1 min walk to a different location. Hotel sign was broken and run down. Parking was tight. The rooms were VERY outdated and not that clean at all. The sheets had someone else’s hair on them. The one side of the sheet looked like throw up was on it. Someone’s snacks from before were left behind the microwave. Looked a little moldy in some areas.. only plus was there was no bed bugs! For the amount you pay to stay there per night- it should deff be updated! There’s no way I should be paying more for a run down hotel in Wildwood than I do for an offsite Disney/universal hotel!!

Close to boardwalk. Establishment can use some love tender care. Stairs beams are rusted. Pool could use maintenance. Ac units are really loud. Overall place needs to be upgraded.

Considering what I paid for two nights, this was appalling!!! The sheets felt as though there was sand on them, towels were sitting on the beds in a tied plastic bag and the parking was a hot mess! I just can’t even begin to put into words my disappointment. Just wow…

The location was close to the boardwalk. The beds were very comfortable. AC seemed to be new so it was nice and cold. Fridge and microwave worked well. Could see the fireworks right from the balcony. Pool was nice. Housekeeper provided fresh towels and toilet paper when needed. Could have been cleaner. Building could use some fresh paint and overall care. Parking is very tight. Motel is at a point where the beach is very wide. Bathroom is small. Noisy all through the night. Not much lighting in the room. Ice machine is at sister location down the block. Expected nicer facility for the cost.

the owner is super nice and does everythng to make it a great stay the parking is very bad move your car and you have no spot and it is so tight between cars you can barely get out of your car once parked you cannot move your car

It was a nice stay and super convenient to walk where ever
