The elevator feels unsafe because it jerks down before actually moving. During our stay, there were only a handful of guests, but people had abandoned a few items around the pool. It makes you wonder how often someone cleans the pool area because the items were still there when we left, and we never saw anyone at the pool. The toilet had to be adjusted every few flushes. The plunger would not align properly for the tank to fill. The shower head leaked and had terrible pressure. It felt like you were under a lawn sprinkler. The highlights were that the ice maker worked well, and it is very close to the beach. However, that area of Wildwood, you have to walk pretty far to get to the water. The room air conditioner works very well, but the 2nd room doesn't get much of the air. It really needs a fan to help push the cold air or another room unit.

It was old and run down and the same stuff from when it used to be called the quarter Deck hotel, which used to be a great hotel until it was sold The weed smoking on the whole premises and the people blaring there music in the pool area and my room was right there. People stealing your chairs in front of ur room

Our family stayed for vacation for 3 nights 4 days. Week of Aug 24th 2026. Rooms were clean bed nice. The towels were as small as a hand towel couldn’t even wrap one around half my body and I am not a big girl by any means. The noise outside by the pool in the pool at 2 am loud music no consideration what so ever . There was no hotel staff there to keep noise level at a minimum after a decent hour. There were broken tiles outside our room door and not only our door. So when other occupants ran and I mean ran it was so loud. People playing basketball after midnight . I’ve stay here 3 times throughout the years and it was never this bad. People had no respect for others. I won’t be staying here again until they change some rules.

Close the the dog beach at the pier The hot tub was down part of our stay

Location was great. The room fulfilled all Required functions. Toilet was fixed promptly when it needed it. The year before we had a split room with was far better for our continued needs This year we got half the rooms for the same price and the smaller space single room was not good for 2 girls and one man.

The property is very rundown. The two room suite only had air-conditioning in the front room. The towels were old and miscolored, one had toothpaste on it. They charged us $20 cash to park an additional car. Oddly, it was cash only. The room door was cut wrong and there was about a half inch space underneath it and a quarter inch on the side.

Location Everything was good

How close to the board walk It was so dirty there was garbage all over and none of the staff cleaned it up and nothing work right and the hot tub was broken and it’s been broken all summer

The reviews I read about the place were a bit harsh, to say the least. I knew in advance that I wasn't getting a room at the Ritz, I was getting a room to sleep and shower in when I was done enjoying my adventures in a summertime resort town. And it is beyond adequate for that purpose. The room, while obviously old, was CLEAN, the staff was friendly, the pool and hot tub CLEAN, the rate was perfectly matched to the room quality. If you want to blow a lot of money on a place to sleep, try somewhere else. The tile floor throughout the room was also a nice touch. Instead of a dark carpet that hides stains and whatnot, you can see that the floor is actually clean. All in all, if you just need a place to crash, store your belongings, and get cleaned up, the Isle of Palms is the best bang for your buck in the Wildwoods! I honestly have no complaints. The closest thing to a complaint anybody in my family had, was my daughter would have liked the brand new lamp to have had its plastic removed.

It was exactly the size of room that we needed. The beds were the perfect size. We are light travelers and the room accomodated what we needed.

No real complaints at all for anything. We loved how comfy the beds are! Wish there was an air conditioner in the back bedroom, it got a little hot in there. Other than that no real complaints at all!
