The Historic Grand Canyon Hotel

Great location, free parking.Free breakfast was ok

Nice historic hotel but very LOUD. You will hear the train several times during the night and early morning; it blows the horn at each street intersection as it goes through town. It crosses 2 blocks away and was close enough that I felt the vibration as it went by. There is also significant street noise until late at night and it starts again early in the morning (mostly traffic). It’s an old building so you will hear everything. If you are at all sensitive to noise or are a light sleeper, I would not recommend staying here. If you can sleep through what I’ve described and you appreciate this type of historic charm, then you might like it. Room was pretty basic; other than the bed it had two nightstands, an old chair, a small table, and a small rack with two hangers for clothes. There was no TV. Hotel was very clean and the staff was also friendly. But I had to check out early since I couldn’t sleep and I had to pay for two additional nights with no refund. So, make sure noise doesn’t bother you before you consider making a reservation here.

This hotel is SO charming and our room had a whole kitchenette which we used to make dinner. The bed was amazingly comfortable too.

we stayed in carriage house three and had such a lovely experience, Staff is wonderful and the property is beautiful and in a great location. the bathtub in our room and the bathroom in general were breathtaking. beautiful room with a comfortable bed

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is a beautiful old hotel, so it's laid out a bit differently than a usual hotel room would be, but that's part of the charm. Also, the free breakfast was a nice surprise

But, if you love history, love the nostalgic sense of places that have lived and sustained the true thrills of life like the historic route 66,.... Then you are at the perfect place. A few steps away you can meet Buck. At Buck's place you find a world record holder on a couple of cowboy's time skills like cowboy whipping. Watch out!!! Your husband might enjoy it. There's a fine restaurant right downstairs where you can enjoy the best contemporary cuisine in a very safe and enjoyable environment. The bar wit the yellow sign which I can't remtthe name was super fun as they had a karaoke night and the singers were professional quality entertainers. The rate te.for the historic grand canyon hotel are unbeatable if you are into fun memories

Book the rooms with the king beds, you will have better space, however, the smaller rooms are more intimate.

This is an old hotel recently renovated. It has a nice ambiance, clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

First, this hotel is super cool and vibey, with an awesome historic look and feel. The pictures unfortunately look a little better than the rooms do... as they really could use new baseboards along with some drywall joint compound, caulk, and paint here and there. Nothing that would stop me from staying there again. And breakfast was simple, but good!

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have already recommended it to a friend that is thinking about coming to the area in October. We will stay here again if back in the area as well
