Tony in housekeeping was the best!!! He went above and beyond to help us find lost airpods. The other staff members will not say hello, ignore you and aren’t that welcoming or friendly at the front desk. The food at Spencer’s was HORRIBLE the cottage pie was so greasy the potatoes were drenched in the grease. We told the front desk that we didn’t eat our to go order that evening but it was no biggie to her.. Fred Harvey restaurant was overpriced and not good! Why is there not a discount on the train ride if you stay at the hotel?

Large hotel. Quiet, no microwave or fridge. No free breakfast. Harvey House Restaurant on property. Close to downtown Williams. Across from the train station for Grand Canyon. Bed was good. Staff was good. Room clean. Plenty of towels and pillows.

Second trip to the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. Don't know how it could have been any better! Loved shopping at the depot, buffet breakfast was excellent, staff was wonderful, kids had a blast in the pool. Would definitely stay there a third time!

I loved the location because you can walk through all of Williams from there. The only 2 things I could say that I would like to see done better is that the hotel room carpets need to be cleaned badly, and there is no freezer in the refrigerator.

Liked the location, didn't like the lack of elevators. Only one small elevator in a corner, about a half-mile to our room.

A great one-night stay, the room was recently renovated, very comfortable and clean. The hotel is massive but very quiet. Highly recommended.

I would warn against the Fred Harvey restaurant. I was excited because I love stories of Fred Harvey and the Harvey girls. I think he would not be happy about the quality of the restaurant. It was $80 for two adults and two children. It said there were 30 dishes on the dinner buffet, but I would say 22 of them were on the salad bar and included the dressings and toppings. The food was...edible, but did not make me want to return. I didn't want to go back to breakfast, but we thought it had to be better, which it was, but barely. The highlight was the cheesy potatoes which would give Cracker Barrel a run for its money. Save your money and try one of the high rated local restaurants. On the plus side, our granddaughters like seeing the train come around the restaurant.

This was a very cute hotel that had a lot of character. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pool and the hottub were great and the pool towels were actually a good size and quality. If you like good water pressure, this is the hotel to go to for a shower. This is a family friendly place to stay and the local atmosphere is so cool. We are at a local coffee shop called Brewed Awakenings since there wasn't breakfast with the room and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The price of the hotel was very worth it.

I heard some ghost stories but there really wasn't much info online about the hotel being haunted.

This is a great hotel to stay with the family! We stayed in the newer refreshed room and it was very clean and seemed new. The pool and jacuzzi was also well kept. The kids loved it. The only thing that could be better is the WiFi. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t much of a necessity but would’ve been if needed to stay longer days. Other than that, beautiful hotel, thank you for having us!
