We were placed in an old room for people with special needs, a very dirty room with a shower that wasn't even my height, I had to shower sitting down every day.

The location was great, and I appreciated the historical charm of the property. It was a nice touch that they played kids’ movies in the lobby. The carpets and rooms weren’t as clean as expected, and there was a noticeable musty smell that made it hard to feel comfortable. One staff member was also not very kind or helpful, which affected the overall experience.

They were shut down ,we didn't find out until we pulled into an empty parking lot .No notification at all.Hed to scramble to find a place to stay

Nothing, they called and canceled my reservation then they still charged me and I can’t get ahold of them for a refund They called and canceled my reservation and still charged me. I have been calling and they won’t answer for a refund.

no outdoor pool, as it was on the fritz, apparently. game room unavailable. hallways were extremely muggy and hot. restaurant was unavailable. gift store unavailable. continental breakfast was a joke.

The hotel was clean. My kids enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool and the free breakfast was an nice touch. The Air Conditioner in mine and my daughter‘s room was not cooling the room. We were miserable during the night, the only thing that helped us sleep was the ice packs We used to cool down and the only thing the hotel staff offered was an “oh I’m so sorry”, I thought they may offer at least a discount.

Breakfast just need add bacon and sausage....furniture was beautiful...beautiful carpet on floor.indoor pool and jacuzzi was great staff was friendly and helpful.... Grass and limbs wasn't cut in picnic area....walk way was full leave in there....not Noth lights see by ...coffee shop was close...no microwave was in our room...AC wasn't working properly in building only in room...didn't have sausage or bacon with breakfast...no arcade for kids no outdoor games. ....hot all ver building except inside living area

Beautiful building The bathroom in my room was very small. It was very uncomfortable for me. I have pulled muscles in my back and I struggled to get up and down from the toilet.

Loved the location of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the choice of indoor or outdoor pools was great with the kids. Great continental breakfast.

The lobby is beautiful. The outside pool was closed. It’s outdated with furniture and no usb ports. Every piece of carpet has stains. The maintenance department should have plenty of work the doors need a coat of paint. The lobby is beautiful but needs deep cleaning cobwebs everywhere.

They canceled my reservation an hour before check-in because AC in building went out. Stranded us out of town searching for a hotel on same day as check-in.

I was within 2 hours of arriving and the hotel called to cancel my reservations due to they not having air conditioning. Not from the area I had to stop and try to locate a hotel at the last minute. Do not recommend this hotel. All of it services.

Breakfast was decent. This is our third year that our group has been to this hotel. Each year it has gotten worse. We understand that it has been sold again, and I believe it is going to be torn down now. No excuse though to not have working air conditioning - 90 degrees while we were there. Could not leave the dog in the room as it was so hot. Sink would not drain - ended up pulling out a clump of "stuff" that was clogging it. Rugs were very "icky" - kept shoes on.

THIS IS A HORROR! IT'S MORE LIKE A DIRTY MOTEL. The last day we arrived home, and our toddler's backpack had cereal bars inside a grocery bag in the backpack. The Cereal bar wrapper was chewed through as well as the grocery bag. We had left it on top of a couch/chair the last night and apparently a mouse must have gone crawl in at night and into the backpack. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE BACK!!

Close to Busch Gardens and all Williamsburg activities.
