Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wilmington West - Medical Park by IHG

Older hotel but perfectly fine. We stayed in room 104. Upon entering the room it was clearly an older hotel, which was evident in the bathroom tile, corners, etc. However, the front desk staff was exceptional - fast check-in, very friendly, easy checkout. Water pressure was great in the shower. The Dove brand bath supplies are the ones I like. The bed slept very well. It was quiet - no noise from neighbors, etc. Overall location is close to the hospital and a close Uber to Greenfield Lake Amphitheater. I wouldn't recommend walking in the area as it doesn't look like the best neighborhood--not crime, per se, but some homeless and possible drug activity. I would stay again. It was a good hotel for a good value.

Exceptional

The room was clean and spacious. I really loved the bathroom with the lighted mirror. Would stay there again. Breakfast was also fresh and delicious.

It was my very first time booking any sort of stay on my own so I felt quite nervous when looking around for a place that could accommodate 5 adults. This place was even better than I thought in person. It was homey, it was cozy, and it had a pool where we could swim, even at night. It was within walking distance to the beach as well which was extremely convenient. It was the perfect first choice. Absolutely loved every second staying here. The staff were very helpful whenever I needed to ask questions which I was super thankful for. I would definitely book this property again!

Superb

Breakfast was excellent and an excellent value for the price of the room. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and located conveniently in Wilmington. Room coffee was terrible and the coffee at the breakfast was not great.

Exceptional

The room was very clean . Breakfast was a little buffet .

Room was clean and staff was nice. I could have done without the couple fighting outside my door nightly. But I made do by turning the TV up. It was ok.

Helpful staff and great location near medical centers!

Great management, friendly staff. Clean hotel

Friendly staff. Clean rooms and lobby. Good breakfast. Great value hotel for the area.

Easy check in, great parking, wonderful staff, comfortable room. Some guests on the property kept slamming doors

Superb

Breakfast was very good

Everything was great

Very friendly staff. Breakfast pancakes are the bomb.

I always enjoy staying at this Holiday Inn Express. My visits are always enjoyable.

Comfortable room with black out blinds and tasty breakfast. Good parking. No complimentary water and the location is far from ideal unless you have business on Medical Road. Traffic on to the Waterfront several miles away is heavy and there are no eateries or bars near the hotel to use on foot in the evening.
