Holiday Inn Winchester Se-Historic Gateway by IHG

no phone cord for the hotel phone so I couldn't call room to room and there were only 3 bath towels for 4 people but both were easy fixes. But my reservation said free breakfast and they wanted $10 for 2 people, so not sure what that was about

Had to go back to desk 2 times after checking in while my wife stood outside our room with luggage in the hall because the keys didn't work. Very frustrating! Also, only 7 channels worked on the TV, was told this was Comcast fault.

Good location and clean hotel

Clean rooms and property. Very attentive staff.

The staff was exceptionally helpful.

Next time I will ask for a room a bit further away from the ice machine - every time anyone got ice we knew it. Lol

Very nice hotel in all ways. Only issue was with the t.v. We were told the room had a smart t.v. with streaming (e.g. NETFLIX) capability. However the remote in the room was not equipped to support the streaming feature - when we checked out we were told you need to request the proper remote for streaming which seemed odd. Also, when we called the night before to get help with streaming, the front desk staff said nothing about needing a special remote. Not a big deal since we went to bed early, but just a heads up for future guests.

Room was very clean but it’s time to replace carpet

The hotel ended up shutting off the water to our room with no warning and no information on how long until water would be restored. We ended up leaving and driving the rest of the way home instead of waiting around in a room with no running water or working toilet.

This site is fairly close to the Interstate and convenient for travelers. As expected, the Holiday Inn lived up to our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and adequate. I would definitely stay here again should travel take me this way.

Room was decent.

Check in was quick and easy. Clerk was wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. Over all a pleasant stay.

It was convenient and a typical Holiday Inn. I got in late and slept well.

I spent two nights here on Friday and Saturday and didn’t have hot water or TV despite immediately informing the front desk.

No hot water in the room

Rooms were large and clean. Maid service everyday which is a nice change from the Marriott brand which is upon request. Check in was a little slow, restaurant had nice service and good food but had some issues with their POS system and beer taps. Overall a wonderful place to stay at an affordable cost.

Clean rooms. The hotel smelled clean and fresh and not riddled with cigarette smoke or weed.

I really like the Holiday inn, but I do have to say this one was not my favorite most offer free breakfast and water this one didn't
