La Posada Hotel

amazing property full of so many cool things to explore. We only stayed one night on a stop over and wished we had longer to enjoy all this beautiful hotel has to offer. Our room was clean and so comfy. The bathroom was amazing with gorgeous tile work and a fabulous jetted tub and shower with excellent water pressure. We can’t wait to return to be able to enjoy everything about this historic hotel. Well worth the trip!

If you are looking for a period piece property to stay at with some railroad and Route 66 flair, you're on the right track (see what I did there?). At around 100 years old the property is in remarkably great shape and sufficiently modernized while holding on to the past. The food and service at the restaurant was above expectation. If you have time, visit the adjacent museum for some history of train travel and also some local culture (we want to return when the restoration of the classic passenger railroad car is completed). Don't forget that this is an active train depot, and they run all day and night. You may even get a chance to wave at some train passengers bound for destinations unknown.

Beautiful, unique property. Our room was very comfortable. The Turquoise Room was a treat, the server was good and the food was excellent.

I really liked this spot. The only downside was our room had a bathroom that required a step up to enter. while there were warning signs inside the bathroom and outside it was not friendly to me with my walking disability. The hotel is beautiful, with lots of art, the restaurant was great and the gift shop was a shoppers' paradise for Mexican and southwest gifts. I am sure I overspent but I got great interesting and unique gifts for Christmas. I would stay there again with no hesitation.

The rooms were well adorned and very very welcoming. It was fun watching the trains and a not hear them!

I expected the property to be better maintained and to feel safer. Signs warning guests to park at their own risk was quite unsettling!

This is the coolest hotel, experience, museum, location, room, dinner…you must stay here. It is an adventure in history, class, old school charm with a very modern vibe. Very clean, super friendly, history filled. Easily walkable to downtown Winslow, but we didn’t even leave the hotel (walked downtown on other trips). There is so much to read, see, enjoy. Even many many little tete-a-tete locations in the vaious lobbies, gardens and even the martini bar. Can’t say enough about this property.

Every inch of the place was lovingly and historically decorated - a fascinating historical place to stay. Staff was lovely, food in the Turquoise Room restaurant was fantastic, and we enjoyed strolling through the gardens before we left town. We'll certainly be back again.

The property is a gem. So beautiful and unique. A restful and memorable stay. I will always return when I'm in the area!

Simply the best hotel experience for the money west of the Rockies

A beautiful facility. Only drawback is no elevator, which was problematic as my wife had an ankle injury and there were no 1st floor rooms available. The person who checked us in was very nonchalant about the issue. That said, the room was comfortable, and the hotel itself is a gorgeous restored property

The history behind the hotel was fascinating. The bed was super comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.
