Motel 6 Winslow, AZ

Not very clean, room had bugs. Needs updating.

I had a pet friendly room on first floor and have found in most places that they are not in the best shape. That was true here although the room was very clean and bed linens looked freshly washed from spread to blanket. Senior woman traveling alone, I felt safe walking my dog around the property at any hour. Price was excellent so overlooked missing amenities like tissues, hair dryer and coffee maker. Fresh coffee in lobby mornings and well stocked vending machines. Friends had stayed there without pets and had larger nice room.

The bed had bed bugs!

We were somewhat disappointed when compared to other hotels we stayed at. Bed spread had red stain (appeared to be food). Front desk staff gave us a convenient map to find the corner. Not bad, not great

The staff were prompt with the morning coffee, check in was a breeze, and the mattress was comfortable. Working the TV was pretty straightforward.

Otherwise a comfortable stay.

I didn’t like it

Check-in was a smooth process and staff were super helpful for restaurant recommendations. Hotel is a bit rundown however some attention to detail would make this place pop. Found hairs on the shower walls before use. Trash under the bed. AC unit smelled like a joint had been shoved into the vents. Okay for a quick 1 night stop or a super affordable place to stay.

Location, pool not working, no breakfast, no laundry

There was crickets throughout the rooms. One of the doors to the lobby appeared to be broken and unable to lock. And they could use more blankets on the bed got very cold at night.

Good for the price

The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. But the overall condition of the property is poor (the paint was chipped on our door frame) Amenities-wise the pool was closed (it’s the middle of summer) and the soaps consisted of a tiny bar of soap and a 0.35 oz conditioning shampoo (so about as much as a single ketchup packet).

Very clean with nice amenities, Very friendly and helpful staff. A very good and affordable place to stay while traveling.

Everything and everyone was amazing. My only minor complaint was the bed and pillows weren’t the best. Good enough for what I needed to get out of the rain! Rooms were spotless, coffee was ready in the morning.

Close to interstate Nothing

The room was clean and comfortable. The AC unit was acceptable but was missing the vent cover and the room door looked as if the lock mechanism had been broken at one time. The pool was inoperative.

Nothing. We checked in, got to our room, then decided to pack up and leave. There was one bath towel provided that was well used, stained yellow, and should have been made into a rag a long time ago. 3 pillows were on the bed, 2 of them were as thin as cardboard. There was a huge cobweb in the corner with a spider happily living there (indicating the room was not cleaned well), and the gap on the sides and under the door were excessive enough to hear every person/conversation happening just outside the room, critters could easily come on in, may as well not even have a door.

It was a place to stay. Old building, zero personality at the front desk and the exterior is dirty.
