The Alfond Inn

An excellent stay and currently in my top 5!

Great customer service! Even upgraded my room because they had an extra available.

Beautiful area, well kept and so homey

Beautiful property, updated and very clean rooms. Extremely close to shops and restaurants.

But travelers beware! If you’re not careful this hotel (which seems to be owned by a Chinese company) will charge you just for smiling at you! My trip was booked and paid through Expedia. Well to my amusement, when I received the bill from the hotel what a surprise! “Discounted room charge” wonderful. Scroll down the bill, another “Discounted room charge” Amazing! Along with all kinds of room tax, resort tax, tourist development tax (charged twice). When called the hotel, the manager couldn’t give me a reasonable answer as to why was I charged these amounts when we had paid in full on Expedia. Seemed like either the Alfond or Expedia wanted to keep some change for themselves. Alfond? Really? From Shenzhen, China? Amusing! We had dinner at their restaurant, another joke! This place is overpriced and overrated. I would stay away from this place! So many other great choices in the area. You’ve been warned!

Beautiful property, well appointed rooms, delicious food, world class artwork, super helpful staff. We especially appreciated the fact that all profits go toward scholarships for deserving Rollins College students. Nothing

Great hotel walkable to Park Avenue!

Amazing experience. We had the grand suite, I highly recommend it.

Very well located to access the Park Ave strip of restaurants and Rollins College. The room was comfortable and staff were friendly. Pricey but knowing all profits fund scholarships at Rollins makes it palatable. BTW if you are visiting the College for a student tour you receive a 15% hotel discount when you book the tour

ambiance Breakfast should be included at this price point. Overpriced valet parking (which is a must unfortunately). Some of the Cafe staff seemed disinterested, and one afternoon the Cafe was closed during opening hours.

Lovely property. Just the right size. Super nice rooms. Nothing

The location was perfect and the complete esthetics of the property. Nothing

Beautiful property located within walking distance to shops, food, sunrail/brightline station. The King room with balcony the only thing is that

By far, the best hotel I have ever stayed (and I’ve stayed in what would be considered 6-star hotels). The entire stay was an incredible experience and my soul just felt alive and more vibrant. Everything is artfully curated and I was brought to tears by the chosen artwork which displayed truly humanitarian and justice-oriented pieces. The amenities were out of this world, the staff is kind and informative, the food is excellent, the pillows, the mattress—truly, I can’t say enough about this place. I wish I never had to leave and already ache to return.

The staff was exceptional and helpful. The bartenders were very nice. The restaurant was terrific and Alan was a very attentive waiter.

Location Park Ave and all the area sites Nothing

Beautiful!

Great hotel, great location.

This place is great! If you are going to Winter Park, stay here.
