Overall everything was good

Pool and dinning area were to small so both were difficult to use during our stay

I think when one books through a 3rd party, we get a dump room. Has anyone else felt that? Like they punish us in a way. This stay was an 8 day stay for a dance competition. Our thermostat was set on 65* and we had to turn it off and on the first night although they did fix it the 2nd night. We had our grandbabies (3 and 10mos). They make a lot of trash. We struggled to find a trash can. There are only small cans in our room and when there is a dirty diaper....my husband had to take it down to the outside can which was also very small and always overflowing. Also, in 8 days, we never saw the staff vacuum the hallway. IT was gross. It was unbelievable. Even the hall on the first floor was dirty, like the management doesn't see that???? Breakfast was included but was a task. The milk was locked, they ran out of creamer 2 of the days and the cereal wasn't refilled. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room 114 was next to utility room it rattled bed with noise coming from it; breakfast was terrible- powdered eggs and bad salsas; ran out of Pastry two days straight.

I asked for a room away from the elevator. I was told no other suites were available except by the elevator. Very noisy. Heard the ding of the elevator all night. Our phone and TV were not working. The night person at the desk told me he was busy and could not take care of it. He never did. The morning person did get maintenance to fix the problems. The pillows were awful. Just awful. Another couple told me the same thing.

We were on the 3rd floor and the people above were stomping on the floor which sounded like they were wearing cement boots. I told the front desk and the people finally stopped at 1am. The breakfast was awful. The eggs had no taste and watery. The sausage taste like it was watery and spongy. Although the apple pie muffins were amazing.

As always, Fairmont Inns, are clean and nicely appointed. The issue we had was with the front desk and housekeeping. There was an accident on our second night and we needed one of the beds sheets changed. The woman at the desk said that it was a firm rule that housekeeping could only clean a room every three days. We had no issue with that, we did not want our room cleaned. We just needed one of the beds to have clean sheets because it was soiled and unsanitary to sleep in. The woman at the front desk made it seem like it was a really big deal, and we might have to be charged extra for it, and scheduling the service would be difficult?! Later that afternoon, there was a sweet young housekeeper in the hall near our room. We asked if she could just change those sheets, which she happily did in less than 5 minutes. It did not seem like a big deal to her or that we were complicating her schedule or in any way being unreasonable. We certainly understand the three day housekeeping plan and have no issues with that at all. But…things happen unexpectedly and need to be taken care of. We were made to feel like we were being unreasonable and demanding which was not the case at all. We weren’t asking for it to be done immediately, just sometime during the day. We were certainly taken aback by the front desk’s attitude and demeanor over what should have been a very small issue.

The pool area was nice, and the water was warm, which the kids really enjoyed. The reception staff made a great impression with their friendly service, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, despite the issue with the laundry area, we had a pleasant stay.

Terrible Service by Staff. I checkout 1 day early they took my Key but charged for all days.
