DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago Wood Dale - Elk Grove

The staff was great and the area was very convenient. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and friendly staff.

Comfort was dirty had chocolate stains

We stayed for 2 days, we didn’t use the pool or the breakfast but it was a good hotel for the price

The room needs renovating. The patio faced construction work on the property. I asked for an upgrade and the second room opened up to the parking lot.

I took 3 kids here for the swimming pool. The place is dreary and old and sad in the middle of nowhere. There's construction outside for I don't know what. You enter into a freezing dark hallway that looks unwelcoming AF, why are half the lights off? The hallways and room are dirty and stinky, there was hair all over our bathroom and bed. Worst of all the swimming pool was COLD! I let my 2 oldest swim for an hour only because they wanted to and then we left. I paid a full night stay.

The first issue was that my room door would not lock properly. I reported my concerns to the hotel staff, but they were not addressed in a way that made me feel my safety was being taken seriously. To make matters worse, due to a mix-up, my belongings were removed from my room. Although I was eventually able to recover most of my items, the front desk clerk refused to return my memory drive, even though it was clearly my property. It wasn't until the bartender stepped in and instructed the front desk employee to return it that I was finally able to get it back. Mistakes can happen at any hotel, but what stood out most was the lack of professionalism and customer service in resolving the situation. Rather than feeling like my concerns mattered, I felt dismissed throughout my stay. Overall, I left disappointed with how these issues were handled. I hope hotel management takes steps to improve staff training, communication, and how guest concerns are addressed.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and decent place.

The bathtubs are covered in mildew and black mold, also be aware it takes almost 2 hours to get into the city with traffic! the lounge that’s advertised in their listing also doesn’t exist since it’s fully under construction! over all it’s super dirty.

Facility set in the 80’s - restaurant not open, felt like migration detention center

Called front desk multiple times for a question no answer 10pm or call back (NO USB outlets!) and I forgot my adapter. Room was clean, nicely refurbished, but noisy AC, SMALL bathroom w oversized sink area, & metal ceramic tub that curved to mid line center making it difficult to feel sure footed in the shower. Bed was comfortable, pillows large & in good shape. TV channels limited but adequate, but service signal was weak on many. Did not use wifi or food service. Parking seemed adequate, altho much maintenance was in progress. Was ok w price for Chicago airport.

Not the standard of what you would expect of a Hilton Double Tree. Rooms needed to be updated.

Great location I wish they had a free breakfast or less expensive one

The room it was clean, good but the ceiling and the walls has water leak, which is make the scene uncomfortable for the eyes the mattress for the bed. It was very uncomfortable. It was very beat up. We had a very bad night trying to find a spot in it comfortable try to use the swimming pool swimming pool was not clean. Have a lot of paint chips inside the water, which make it very dangerous to swim in it.I did not see any supervision or any manager coming to try to make our stay more comfortable also the building was under construction, which is make it very tough to go and maneuver around the construction very bad experience for me and for my wife we were not happy at all for the money we spent.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with excellent exterior lighting that made me feel secure. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay, making for a very positive experience.

The hotel was basically clean, but could be better. The condition of the property was poor with needed work to be done. Clean paint and wall-paper needed. The carpet is only in fair condition at best. Vacuuming needs to be everyday and not left to the judgement of the staff. People generally have higher standards. The front desk staff is good.
