Hyatt Place Itasca

We were in Itasca for a wedding, but if I were looking for a good, affordable hotel near O'Hara, would definitely stay here.

Rooms are spacious and clean.

Though Expedia listed hotel is 5.5 miles away but in reality it's 11 miles away from O'Hare international Airport. Uber will cost around $45. By considering the distance from Airport, rates are on the higher side.

It was great experience.

We stayed here one quick overnight stay and boy was it full of an experience. Upon check in the staff was friendly and helpful. We got into our room and it was clearly dated and not clean. The AC vent was so disgusting the ac didn’t even cool the room down no matter how low you tried to make the thermostat. The bathroom is super small. Stains on the couch. The pool was dirty, towels and broken pool toys laying around. We were woken up by the fire alarm going off at 7:30 in the morning with no explanation no nothing. Since we were up we tried breakfast. I wouldn’t bother unless you like powder eggs. Barf. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Estaba todo super bueno. Camas limpias cuarto espacioso lo único aunque estaba bueno fue el desayuno deben varias un poquito pq me quede una semana y desayunar lo mismo deben varias un poco por día.

I didn’t like that one of the elevators didn’t work.

Toilet was clogged when we arrived, red paint stained on the ground, window covers covered in spiderwebs and stained. The pull out bed had brown stains on it as well.

Great location that was close to the airport with plenty of food options nearby. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The free breakfast was decent just wish there was more hot options like scrambled egg and bacon

Room was clean until you got into the shower. There was mold growing on the tile and it smelled like mildew/mold. Otherwise it was a great place for the price.

Don't get a room on the 1st floor.

The staff was lovely and always helpful. The room had a musky smell and the carpet pretty beat up.

The breakfast selection was better than expected, with a good variety of options and quality that exceeded most comparable hotels. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses were noticeably worn and dipped on one side, which left us waking up with back pain each morning. For a Hyatt property, I expected much higher-quality bedding and mattresses. We’ve stayed at other similarly priced hotels and found their beds to be significantly more comfortable.
