The Westin Chicago Northwest

The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows were amazing. Having to pay for everything on top of the fairly expensive charge for the room.

Large open space at the center of the lobby. Didn't like to wait until almost the last minute to check in while waiting with 2 kids tired of traveling. They offered to get the room sooner at 1:00PM for $75!! What a shame!!

Overall very easy to check in everyone there was super helpful would definitely recommend!

I liked that the front desk employees helped me to check in earlier than 3pm. I really appreciated the accommodation. The room had a high ceiling and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't like that the elevators were slow, but it wasnt a very long wait. The staff did notify customers dtaying the weekend by placing a note near the elevators. I also, couldnt contact the front desk from the phone in the room that I stayed at. A few friends would take the elevator down to speak with the front desk. It was unfortunate that the Westin hotel doesn't have complementary breakfast.

Cleaning staff only made beds and took some dirty towels. Was shocked to have seen nothing else done.

Our room was very clean and peaceful. The facility and staff were excellent! We had zero issues or complaints during our stay. It's also easy to get to Chicago or around other areas nearby because it's right off the interstate. There were two weddings and at one point in the night, people were very loud. That isn't the fault of the hotel, and it was minimal/didn't last all night. It was more when people were walking in the hallway back to their room around 2AM.

There was a condom

On top of the general lack of cleanliness, the toilet would not flush. The internal parts were old and were in need of repair. The engineering dept person came in and showed me how I could get it to fill if I needed to use it. This was at 1am. He was very nice and did all he could for us at the time. I appreciated is insight and band-aid solution. We were moved the next day and our new room was clean and the toilet did functioned properly.
