We were very happy with the hotel staff, the space, food and everything they provided

Really nice room with lots of room. Very nice staff

My stay was very relaxing. The staff was helpful and friendly. They always wore a smile when they greeted you. The rooms were clean upon arrival, which was a plus. The rooms were cold, but I was able to adjust them with the wall thermostat. There was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom, but I was able to retrieve extra rolls at the front desk. Parking was a plus and safe when entering the building at night (the parking lot was well-lit). I did not get a chance to have breakfast. It smelled delicious, but I was so relaxed in bed that I could not get out of bed. I will definitely make sure I try the breakfast on my next stay.

The only thing was the bed. It wasn't comfortable at all. I still gave 5 starts because in the morning I let the staff know and they seemed responsive and requested if it happens again on future trips to call down and they would get me another place to sleep for the night where I wouldn't have to move all my stuff I settled in with. I only stayed one night with a late check in, and I didn't know that was an option or I would have requested that.

The rooms were dirty, when I arrived I was put in the wrong room as I reserved a handicapped and hearing impaired room with a tub, but was put in a small room with a shower and the toilet that didn't work and visually the microwave and surfaces were dirty. The front desk clerk was accommodating as he was able to get me in the right room, but the table was sticky all around the edges and the floor was was dirty from the front, under the table and the bathroom and the carpet 😳 needed steam cleaned as it was grimy and there were no carts available to bring all of me and my childrens things up at 9.30pm at night. I was there Thursday July 2nd thru Monday July 6th 2026 and the pool was dirty along with cups and junk laying around the pool room and wasn't cleaned till Monday. Recommendation would be to get a whole new management team and Staff that is more Professional and the Elevators stunk like Body odor and dogs and honestly should be cleaned everyday and put air fresheners in there and throughout the Hotel. I was very disappointed as I've been coming for the last 4 years to the hotels tonight, chain. And this very one add potomac mills has gone downhill.Extremely. thank you Della Jo Piarulli

The room was on the 4th floor but could not find a cart to move the suitcases- had to make several trips to get them up to the room. The breakfast offerings were not particularly good; there were no lids for coffee cups either.

The bedsheets were poor quality and appeared old, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. The overall condition of the room gave the impression that proper cleaning and maintenance were not a priority. I also have serious concerns about the hygiene practices of the hotel. Given that this is a pet-friendly property, I question whether the rooms are thoroughly sanitised after each guest checks out, especially to ensure a clean and safe environment for the next guests. Overall, the room did not feel properly cleaned, and the housekeeping staff did not seem to pay enough attention to basic hygiene standards. I expected a much better level of cleanliness.

The staff goes beyond the call of duty to help you.

On the upside, there was free parking, and the room didn’t smell like mold. However, the property looks ragged with pilly sheets, weird stains all over the room, and it didn’t feel terribly clean in general. We stayed five nights and housekeeping never came. We kept asking, and they assured us housekeeping would come to refresh things, but the most they ever did was take out SOME (not all) of the trash on day FOUR, took away our old towels, and left some new ones. They didn’t touch the beds or clean anything. But we had to repeatedly ask for even that bare minimum. The breakfast was probably the worst we have ever seen. Very little selection, and they had a hard time keeping anything stocked. Aside from a communal milk pitcher and a handful of cream cheese packets, there was nothing in the fridge. We ended up going to the store and doing breakfast in our room because it was that bad. Pretty disappointing to have to provide our own breakfast on top of paying for a hotel that was supposed to provide one. The staff was friendly, but didn’t appear to be great at their jobs. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.

Very nice amenities and the room was neat and clean

Overall cleanliness of the property was poor. Dog smell, smeared windows throughout the property. Close to Potomac mills but I would not stay here again.

This is a great hotel but don’t expect much in the way of refreshments. The refreshment cooler at the front desk is always empty except for a few rogue cans of soda and bottles of water.

I was a little disappointed when upon exiting the shower I opened a towel to find it yellow with brown steaks. I reported to the front desk upon leaving and she was very responsive. I have stayed many times with this company I hope this was just a mishap. I do enjoy everything about this hotel company.

Also room above us was very noisy most of the night

One of the housekeeping staff dropped vacuum waste on the floor and it sat next to the elevators all day. The continental breakfast was less to be desired. Our room wasn’t cleaned every other day like their promise. Had to ask for fresh towels and TP daily. Finally after asking 2 days in a row our room was cleaned 4 days into our stay. Smoke free yea okay. Multiple times our floor smelled like weed. Key card kept maul functioning and had to walk to the front of the building to get our key card “fixed”

Good hotel with a solid location. Access to DC 30 minutes tops and a lovely mall at Potomac Mills.
