The Bolling Wilson Hotel

The whole experience from check in to check out was excellent.The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with historical theming throughout - you'll learn a bit of history at every turn in the hotel. Excellent location with easy parking and walkable distance to stores and eateries. The front porch and perfectly manicured lawn are perfect for relaxing and soaking in the mountain air. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful--and they ensure you know about the fresh-based cookies available at 5pm each day. The restaurant Graze on Main is delicious; I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. This is one of my favorite hotel stays.

I was disappointed in the breakfast. For the amount you pay for a room in small town I thought the breakfast was very underwhelming. The breakfast did not measure up to budget hotels like the Fairfield Inn or the Hampton Inn. Because of this, I do not think the stay was worth cost.

the town, pronounced with-ville is precious and the log house restaurant a unique treat. they used to be pet friendly, but are no longer. the ONLY issue i have ever had.

A nice, unique hotel, offering a change of pace from the typical highway-exit hotels up the street. Enjoyed our stay.

Modern room. Rooftop access with pleasant seating The listing had advertised a rooftop bar/restaurant that did not exist. Abundant complementary breakfast. Big luxurious bathroom— however the laminate floors in the main room area were deeply dirty. The bottoms of my feet were brown after I walked on it barefoot after a shower.

We decided to break up our long trip home and stayed at the Bolling Wilson hotel the night of July 4th and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is in the heart of downtown Wytheville and Main Street was closed for a street fair, literally right out the front door. There was an awesome fireworks display that night which we were able to watch from the rooftop bar. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing not rating 5 stars would be the breakfast, a pretty plain continental.

We always enjoy our stay!

This is our second visit to the Bolling Wilson Hotel and it won't be our last! We drive from Maryland to Tennessee at least once a year, so we were thrilled to find such a lovely hotel about halfway thru the trip. Breaking up that long drive at the BW hotel has made our trip so much better. We look forward to good food (love both the indoor and outdoor restaurants) and an opportunity to relax with a drink on the rooftop bar. The beds are so comfortable that I always sleep very well, which is something I don't often say about staying in a hotel. We also love to sit on the front porch with coffee in the morning, it's such a relaxing way to start the day!

the property is immaculate inside and out. Truly a standout in restored grand hotels. The lobby, bar and ballroom are remarkable for the interior attention to millwork and finishes. The room was spotless, inviting and comfortable. This was our seventh visit.

Great location, excellent staff ( especially the breakfast staff), restaurant. Free easy parking. Room was fine(mainfloor) bed was ok- way too soft. Different room next time.

We love that it's a historic property, and downtown Wytheville is just outside the door

Such a cool hotel in such a cool town. Room was great, the history is amazing. If coming to Wythville, this is the place to stay.
