Red Lion Hotel Yakima Center

So many workers! I like privacy and felt there were always workers around. Not complaining- I’m glad folks have jobs and they are maintaining the property! The pools were great!!! Clean and well maintained. The rooms need some updating- my bed was caving into the middle. The room smelled like old cigarettes smoke but otherwise, great stay for the price.

Location was great with easy access to the convention center. Otherwise the property was ok. They had a small outdoor pool and a $10 breakfast. This hotel has been well used, just your average hotel with all the features you would expect. Not bad but nothing memorable.

I admit that I am overweight but for someone to say that at check in I almost walked out. Also when I woke up, and took my shower there were several small bugs running oround on the bathroom floor.

Clean, friendly helpful staff and comfortable would stay there again.

Getting our room key to work was like playing Russian roulette—it worked sometimes, but most of the time it didn’t, making it frustrating every time we returned to our room. Customer service was equally disappointing. The front desk staff weren’t particularly welcoming and at times came across as snarky. Our friends waited over 30 minutes just to check in, and during that time no one even acknowledged they were standing there. The bar and karaoke area wasn’t any better. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes without a single employee taking our order or even acknowledging us. We eventually gave up and left. The one positive thing I can say is that the shower had plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, between the cleanliness issues, poor customer service, and lack of attention throughout the property, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

No amenities. it was very uncomfortable no refrigerator in room lead to me throwing away bunch of groceries I had been taking with me on a road trip for work. I was unable to locate a working ice machine. I stayed in the detached motel section.

I've never stayed at a Red Lion Hotel before and although the price was within my price range I'm not sure I'll stay again. Our room was a long ways from the check-in desk and lounge area. Room was decent, but looking out the window which the sliding window was broken was a view of garbage and pill bottles. sketchy area in the back with low rental apartments as neighbors I was a bit worried about my car. I would stay again if nothing else was available in my price range and I absolutely had to stay in the area. I also got it for the breakfast, but I failed to notice it wasn't "free" breakfast, but $10 a person to eat. that was my fault.

The staff was nice.It has a greater location in the city. However, it is an older property and upgrading.

Rooms need refurbished, no clock in room, tall fences to keep out unwanted guests

This facility was not only old, but dirty! The bed was uncomfortable and sagging. The bathroom was not clean. The tv was not connected to the power plug.

Parking was good, near room. Pet friendly, provided grass and bags for waste. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked. Near restaurants and shopping. Felt safe in the neighborhood and easy to access freeway.

Room was clean. The balcony was really nice with two comfortable chairs and a table. We spent a lot of time sitting out on it. Beds were comfortable and had three pillows each. The AC was cold and felt amazing after being out in the heat. Staff were friendly and very helpful!

There was no coffee or tea in the room. Toilet ran constantly.

Lots of parking

Older hotel that hasn’t been updated recently. It was the only hotel with a vacancy so that’s where we landed, but we prefer many of the other hotels in town.
