Beautiful scenery right on the Beach Front. The bottom floor rooms are the closest you can get to the Ocean from any room along Long Sands Beach. Only downside was the back of the Hotel is under Construction.

It’s your basic beach hotel. Nothing fancy, no crazy amenities. Stairways are tight and it’s super pricey. However, the views are unbelievable! I would stay again if it were cheaper.

They need to get regular size pillows . The shower had 3 knobs to control the water , when I turned on the shower water still poured out of the faucet also . Be careful the water was extremely hot . Sink in bathroom had no hot water . Pool was nice . The building is not level . Air conditioning was kind of loud . Definitely needs so updates .

Property is in process of being renovated. The bathroom was clean but needed repair and did not have a safety bar in the shower.

Nice location overlooking the ocean but no elevator to reach our 3rd floor room.

The oceanfront view was incredible. However be aware that there is no elevator, and you will have to carry your suitcase up very steep, sketchy wooden stairs. The back of the property looks very rough in general. The rooms are nice inside, but the bathrooms are very old, have chipping paint, and the plumbing is questionable. It does appear they are doing renovations so it may get better soon.

What a relaxing stay! The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. What a beautiful sunrise view! The outdoor pool is under construction but the indoor pool is perfectly warm!

Location and staff Hotel under construction. Left after 1st night, we could not sleep. There was a very strong chemical smell from the paint, new furniture or adhesive. Could not sleep, strong taste of chemical in our mouths, headache. Paid for two ngts. to sleep 4 hours.

Grand View is going through renovations but we love the ocean view. Next year we we are promised an elevator.

Right across from the ocean, the view was beautiful, the room was clean, and staff was very helpful and courteous.

The stairs to the 3rd floor were horrible and dangerous. I can’t believe no one has been injured ! Law suit ready to happen. Place was decent other than the stairs

The bathrooms are old. Hot water would crank up when you had the temperature where you wanted it. So that was unpleasant. I wouldn't let my child shower because of that situation. They need to take a bath.

I love this hotel its very nice. Last year stayed in a 3rd floor room beds were kind of hard. First floor rooms have better amenities. I think the price range from the Thursday night compared to the Friday night was outrageous and I got a random 5 dollar charge as well.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The property is dated and lacks counter areas in the bathrooms. It has an exceptional view and is centrally located to all the popular areas in southern Maine. For the price, and location, this is great for people seeking lower cost oceanfront hotels.
