This is a unique property, restored and right across from the beach. Staff were exceptional. Nice restaurant on site. Easy to walk to businesses nearby and ocean.

The room was exceptional. The whole property was very clean, staff was great. The place was across the street from the beach which my wife loved. If we ever get back we will stay there.

Fantastic remodeling in a place with rich history. Great in room coffee maker and the restaurant was superb.

The manager Andrew was wonderful. Quick to take care of a squeaky bathroom door and very kind as he learned we were staying for a sad reason.

My wife loved the ocean view from the window but for me the room was a little small. Great bathroom and very clean. Coffee and scones not that great so I paid extra for the view. For me not worth the up-charge. Overall still a great place to stay. Still a 4+ star rating.

I would stay here again and again. The staff was so friendly. The bed was comfortable. The shower was amazing. The view was incredible.

Loved the old school charm but new amenities. The pillows were a little hard other then that everything was great.

Loved our quirky, modern yet retro and artsy room, proximity to the beach, awesome shower, comfy bed. Glad I chose this place for our one night "toe-dip" into Maine on a fast 7-day trek through New England.

Everything was great but only thing I didn’t like was that I wish my patio area outside of my room door was more private. I didn’t like that people from outside visiting bar/restaurant could be standing right outside my room. Made me not feel comfortable leaving my window or door open for view or fresh air.

Rooms are small but clean. I would suggest removing the big plant so there is more room. Coffee was supposed to be ready at 8:00am but wasn't out until 9:00am. The hotel is right across from Long Sands and can be seen from the room. I would stay there again. There is coffee sold at the general store which is a very short walk.
