Overall ok but definitely overpriced and the staff was a bit rude when I arrived. I didn't even realize their was a hot tub until then last day. I had no idea coffee was available in the lobby, either. I felt like I was a more of a bother than a guest.

Pictures on line are not accurate room was very dated and if anyone was staying above you all you hear is them walking around. No garbage pickup,had to ask for clean towels,tv had to unplug cable every time you wanted to watch, tv could have been a little bit bigger hard to see. Weeds growing up around the windows very un kept

Was really hoping for a wonderful weekend. Arrived went to office to check in. I gave him my name and said I didn’t have a reservation. I said I hope so because I have all the information here on my phone . He asked for another name I gave him my husband’s name which is same last name as mine for the last 39 years. Asked for my id and gave me a key. Room was on first floor. Opened the door to room and the damp musty smell hit us. Room very basic. Small tv, a handmade stool with a microwave and small coffee maker on it. In the corner a fridge on a bench and a hanging spot, above that was an old A/C unit that was very dirty. Bathroom looked clean but had large brown calk stain in front of the tub. Window covering didn’t even fit across or close all the way. Well, beds were ok and comfortable.but we have a family with children above us doing all kinds of jumping and running until late and then starting back up in the early morning. Also, heard the family next to us with a crying child and their activity. The outside was overgrown and hot tub was filled with cloudy water and weeds coming up from deck. We had to continually search for someone to get clean towels because front desk staff wasn’t around. Coffee pot was so small and not replacements for that either and they didn’t make coffee until later in the morning with no creamer or sugar. It was so disappointing !! Wanted to tell them when we checked out but again no one was at desk to talk to. Had to leave keys in a box on door

The location was a short walk to the beach and conveniently located. The property is layed out interestingly as it was a carriage house. Parking is in the back not near your unit, however there are 15 minute spots for unloading. We had a king suite with a deck. I may have missed the part that the deck was shared. Could see the ocean from the room though.

Clean, well-priced, and staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Easy walk to the beach was a plus. Room and bathroom were clean. While we did not use them, the pool and hot tub were nice and well maintained. Overall, we would not rent here again. The negatives outweigh the positives.

As we entered the unit the floor felt very soft like there was a problem with the flooring, a little disconcerting as we also saw several carpenter ants in the unit. The furniture looked new but not sure about the mattress which was very uncomfortable. We both woke up with backaches and feeling very stiff. As we were only there for 2 nights we didn’t say anything.

My husband and I enjoyed the stay, It was cozy and clean. However it was cold and we couldn't get the heat to work. It was turned off.

A convenient place to stay for easy access to Long Sands Beach and short drive to the lighthouse and Short Sands Beach. Room was clean and comfy but could use some updating. Rug was very worn and curtains were stained along the bottom. Would be useful to have a table for the coffee maker and proper amt of coffee to make 5 cups instead of a single serving. Front desk staff very friendly and happy people. I’d definitely consider booking again.

Great location in York, close to the beach and the main town. Affordable price for a solid, normal room. Comfortable stay for a long weekend. Not the newest property but clean and nice. I would definitely stay again when coming back to York.

The room was clean Someone unlocked the door and opened while we were in there. Said someone left and didn't know who it was. Still they should have knocked

We were able to check in very early, which was fantastic! The room was spacious and very clean! The staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Loved the location, just a quick walk or quicker car ride to anywhere you'd want to go in the York Beach area! The bed. It was like sleeping on a water bed of air. Way too soft and every time the other person moved, you did too! My back and neck were smoked the next day! The hot water also takes quite a while to heat up.

The staff wasn’t super friendly, we waited for around 30 minutes waiting for someone to help us check in. One person saw us waiting and just walked away. Very uncomfortable first start. The room had about 3 outlets and the only one nearby was behind the nightstand. The lighting in the room consisted of 3 lamps, one of the lamps bulb was blown. The sink and shower were both clogged, the shower had a clump of hair in the tub. The carpet had hair all through it. I dropped my ring and it was covered in random hair. The towel rails were also broken. As someone who does their hair and makeup and likes to look in a full body mirror before going out, there wasnt a full sized mirror. The hot tub sadly wasn’t open which was my mistake because I didn’t read when it would be open. We were very close to the beach but didn’t have a beach view. The curtains also didn’t fully cover the windows, there were blinds under them but it didn’t feel very private. The tv for entertainment was also very small which isn’t a big deal but overall, my experience from this was one of the worst I’ve had, especially for around 150 a night. We did want to just spend the one night due to everything and not stay for the 2nd night but there would have been no refunds for the 2nd night. They said “they would get ahold of me” after they contacted the manager, in which they never did. I would not recommend this place. I definitely could have spent what I did somewhere else that would have been more clean.

Let myself in to the deserted office and spotted a 20something on her phone in the lobby. She showed me the envelope that contained a 2nd floor room. I asked her if we could switch to a downstairs room near the parking space since the place was clearly without any guests. She said she didn’t have the ability to do this and would need to contact the owner. 20 minutes later she appeared and said she could reach the owner but could give me her number so I could try in maybe an hour. Frustrated I gave up and took the 2nd floor room. Photos attached to describe what we found Dirty Ice Bucket w spent coffee filter and trash inside Bloody sheets No blanket. 16” TV circa 2005??? I never give one star reviews but this place deserves one. Don’t come here.

Room was clean. Arrived late and the instructions were left for me. I could not see the beach from my room. There was a nice balcony. Very affordable.
