Where it was located. Able to walk to everything I had a hard time getting hot water when I took a shower and the air conditioner did not work well

Location to beach.. beautiful pool area.. extremely clean comfortable and quiet room! No coffee offered but coffee shop next door….

Always nice to be right near the beach. Pool was warm first day but didn't seem like heater was on the next two days.

The rooms were great! So clean and a great size. The beds were very comfortable. The location is key and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing night away at the perfect hotel.

Easy going property, nice pool. Right in the middle of down town, directly across from beach.

The proximity to the ocean was marvelous. I got some beautiful sunrise pictures right from the balcony of the motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the pool was wonderful. Everything was good.

Our room was right off the office. It's a little tight in the "parking lot" that surrounds the pool, but that's okay. We were able to walk from the back parking lot to our rooms with no issue. The room was spacious for two people. We have been coming to York Beach several times a year since I was 3... I'm 51 now. We had great access to downtown, and things were just starting to "wake up" downtown. Very nice area to stay.

Perfect location. Very nice heated Pool. Clean room! The only thing was housekeeping didn’t come enough but that could vary for certain guests. We could have used an additional visit from them. You could also hear any live music happening late into the night from surrounding restaurants.

Immediate access to everything at Short Sands Beach in York. A culturally iconic property to the area where my extended family has stayed since the 1960s. A true beachfront experience! Updated fixtures and plumbing would go a long way to improve our guest room, but everything functioned correctly as expected.

Absolutely nothing. We checked in, opened the room door, went back to the office and tried to get a room that we saw the photos for online, could not so found another hotel for a third of the price. I found out that booking.com changed us $376 and the actual price of the room if I had called was $219. The tub was 10” deep with a handsoap dispenser on the wall. The furnishings were from the 1950’s and the a/c that was desperately needed for asthma did not work. I could go on but no point. The two women that worked there were super sweet and kind and I have no complaints about them they did try to help! See above!

Room was very clean but motel is dated. Staff were extremely helpful & accommodating. Very beautiful area & the pool area & beach looked fantastic. Definitely would stay there again.

The room is very basic and old but clean. Door was hollow door and not sound proof and lock was old fashioned light weight and very worn lock - you really need to put chain on. No plugs near the night stand and no clock. I found a plug under the a/c to charge my phone, and I had 2 beds and could choose between sleeping with my my head 2’ from the window and window air conditioning or 1.5’ from the bathroom door - not great

Booked last minute just for 1 night. Didn't use the pool but felt it and was warm; people were enjoying it. Spent the afternoon at Ogunquit Beach which was a short drive away. It was fine for a last minute trip.

Staff are friendly and full of information 🙃. Room is ok. Ac only goes to 66 so felt very warm still. Stuffy in room. Room was clean . Ned’s a little softer than we are use to but comfortable . We slept good. It does have a rug . Which at the beach keeps all the sands in . Great location close to everything you can walk to . We would come back here again
