Perfect location, great spot right across from short sands beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Booked a last minute room here on a Friday night. The rooms were outdated, but clean and well represented on the website. The location is primo! You are steps away from the beach, restaurants and arcade. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The pool was clean, refreshing and not super busy. Overall, I would recommend and stay again.

Rooms were out dated. Beds were uncomfortable.

There was no shower head on the shower and barely any water pressure. the bathroom was extremely moldy and the rooms are small so the entire room was affected. We all were sneezing and congested the entire time. The staff was nice and helpful. Always available. The owners of this motel have some nerve charging those prices even at the height of the season with the quality and condition of those rooms. There’s no reason the bathrooms can’t be updated it’s truly alarming how bad they were.

The room was super small. Had to turn sideways to get into the bathroom, and sit on the bed to adjust the ac. The blinds couldn’t close all the way and the pool was filthy.

Great location, I have stayed here before and I love it :) I have no bad reviews for this property.

Location, location, location! The staff is friendly and helpful. The price for the location is decent. It’s a little shabby. The door jamb around my door wasn’t finished, the number on my door was a post it note, and the window AC was pretty old and noisy.

Location to EVERY THING No coffee absolutely.. but I’m a coffee fanatic.. next door is nice coffee shop!!

Good for a no frills stay close to it all. Has everything you need. We were disturbed by a noisy late night group that did not respect the posted quiet hours.

You can't beat the location! Staff was super friendly, pool area is very well kept and enjoyable. Very clean and very comfy bed! It is not the most modern motel but does have free wifi. It is very family friendly so busy place

Great location, within walking distance to everything at short sands. I enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the beach and watch the sunrise before it got crowded. Room was small but clean and made for a nice home base during our vacation. My son loved the outdoor pool and I loved the lounge area around it :) The metal on the shower faucet was peaking off and I sliced my thumb on it. I meant to let the front desk know while I was there but it was only a bit deeper than a paper cut and I forgot about it pretty quick. I was also grateful that we were on the east side of the building, furthest from the restaurant next door that played loud music late into the night. I couldn’t hear it from our room with the AC on, but would recommend that potential guests take the location of their room into consideration if traveling with little ones or people sensitive to noise.

Very small awkward room. No where to put coffee maker except on nightstand. Toilet was weirdly low. TV blocking mirror in room.

It was clean, right near the water, close To everything downtown on Short Sands. We were just looking for a clean, affordable, comfortable overnight stay and the Sea Sands met our expectations. Old school beach motel! We would stay again!

Where it was located. Able to walk to everything I had a hard time getting hot water when I took a shower and the air conditioner did not work well

Always nice to be right near the beach. Pool was warm first day but didn't seem like heater was on the next two days.

The rooms were great! So clean and a great size. The beds were very comfortable. The location is key and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing night away at the perfect hotel.
