For a hotel of this reputation, I expected much better customer service and a room that was clean and properly maintained. The mold was concerning, especially in a bathroom, and the dismissive attitude from the front desk only made the situation worse. The next morning, Yolanda at the front desk was polite and acknowledged the issue, but no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered despite the condition of the room and the inconvenience it caused during what was supposed to be a special birthday trip for my daughter. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression on what should have been a memorable celebration. I hope management takes guest concerns more seriously and addresses the maintenance issues in their rooms.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the beds comfortable. The only improvement might be small dust pan and brush by the doors, because we didn’t want to bring sand in with us. The beach was great! Just walk across the street. We will be back!

Solo weekend and this was absolutely wonderful. Location is perfection and property impeccable and the room(water front view) was clean, quiet and updated. Staff lovely. Adirondack chairs on the grassy waterfront,while enjoying a drink. Family friendly downtown and everything is walkable. So many food options, lovely beach,York is spotless, clean and safe. I will be back this summer and will bring my son for traditions to come. Cheers!

An older main building that has been well maintained and updated; perfect location right on Short Sands Beach with pristine grounds (great wedding venue); a great pub and restaurant; Staff is friendly and helpful. Straight A's.
