The Inn Between the Beaches

It was a great location. Easy walking distance to town as well as Short Sands Beach. It needs a little TLC such as new window screens, and some updating.

The location was great and the staff was very friendly. The place was also clean and well maintained. The pool was also nice. The mattresses need to be updated. They drooped and there was no bounce left. The shower was also very tight.

The owner was so sweet.

Adele, the owner, I believe, was so nice upon check in and then departure. Offered several things to do while we were there. Liked the location of the inn which was between the two beaches - Short and Long Sand. You could walk to both, which is a bonus, so you didn't have to pay for additional parking. The accommodations were good. We like quality hotels/motels for a good price and that is exactly what we received. Would definitely stay again.

Close to beaches Out dated. Smelled musty. Rusty towel rack, holes in bathroom floor board, no air conditioning, front door kept sticking to metal trim, windows are dirty, water did not stay hot, sign said they recommend not using oven…why?

Location was great. Room was very clean, manager was very nice and accommodating . Small amenities like an iron and ironing board, luggage rack and hair dryer with diffuser would be a plus. First room the shower drain plugged and flooded , we were given an upgraded newer room.

The location was misleading, it wasn’t 400 ft from the shops and beaches. Definitely will need to drive to Long Beach and short sands. Don’t advertise false locations

The staff!

The beds were comfortable. The room spacious. The kitchenette very nice with adequate cooking pots and a strainer. The refrigerator was full-size and sparking clean. The TV was old school and did not dominate the space. My wife and I could never understand why people go to beautiful places and then spend time glued to a screen. The owner was very nice and graciously allowed us to charge our electric car. We would reccomend the place to anyone.

The location to the downtown and to the beaches. It was very easy to get to. The only downside was it did not have reliable Wi-Fi

This is our 3rd time staying here and I don’t think we would consider staying elsewhere. I’m a complete germophobe but find this inn to be exceptionally clean. Adele is amazingly friendly and accommodating and the location can’t be beat!

location, the room has a kitchenette There was a heat wave and the room did not have air conditioning, there was no outdoor shower or hose to rinse off wetsuits or your feat

Room was clean and comfortable The tv had an analog antenna not many channels. There were no ice makers at all at the hotel.

Proximity to short sands was excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Place was very cute, well decorated, nice size and comfortable. Very clean. Nothing.

The location was great; it was right in the middle to walk to both beaches. (About 5-10 mins). It was a good spot to sleep but that’s about it. The bathroom was moldy and the shower leaked. The WiFi also wasn’t very good to even load web pages in the building we were staying in. We were 3 people and they only provided us with 2 towels.

As soon as we arrived Adele made us feel at home. We stayed in Unit 8 which was Very spacious and the property well manicured. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I also met Adeles husband who was also very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area especially with directions to almost anywhere in Maine. We will definitely stay there again when we go to York Maine. Al and Joyce There was not a thing to not like. It had everything we needed to have a wonderful time.
