Accommodations were very clean! AC was good. parking was good, but tight for 2 cars as we rented the 2 bedroom suite, so we had 3 couples in 2 cars. So, we were not sure how to park for 2 cars and needed to park one of the cars at another location. please leave spare garbage bags to use for the trash bucket in the kitchen as the trash started to overflow on the 3rd day of our visit. We used our shopping bags for the trash that did not fit in the trash bucket. Not a big deal, but it would be more convenient to have spare trash bags. Thank you. we would recommend staying Inn on the Blues to our friends. overall, It was very good accommodations.

Everything is perfect here but it is very loud. Saturday night d j played till after 1 a.m and he is right down the hallway. If you had small children I doubt they would be able to fall asleep.

Great location clean

The location is fantastic, right across the street from the beach and just steps from the shops and restaurants at Short Sands. We have visited York many times, so we didn't need much assistance, but check-in was easy. It was completed at the hostess stand, and a staff member escorted us to our room, Sunrise #2. This property is more of an inn than a traditional hotel, offering a smaller, more personal experience. Parking was available in a small lot behind the building, and we had no trouble finding a space. The rear exterior could use some updating, but it did not affect our stay. Our room was located above the restaurant. There was music in the evenings, which didn't bother either of us, but travelers who are sensitive to noise may want to keep that in mind. Our room was clean and modern, with ac, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The location and comfortable accommodations made it a great home base for a York Beach getaway.

We loved the location. The staff was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and bright. There wasn't enough storage space. The bathrooms were very small and it would have been really helpful to have a medicine cabinet to store toiletries. There was plenty of space in the room for a dresser to be able to store clothing, etc. It would have been great to have blackout curtains as well.

Location was everything! Room was updated, comfortable and tidy. We attending a wedding and our welcome event was here the night before the wedding so it was so accessible. Would stay again. Great for couples Limited hot water and low pressure. Desk chair broken, blinds broken. Not family friendly. No front desk- self checkin and you hd an actual key to the room.

The view from our room was incredible! Jimmy was very helpful in navigating the stairs with our mountains of stuff. The room was comfortable and clean however, whatever cleaning agent they use smells horrific. The only other complaint was that the hot water was fairly iffy, but I understand it’s an older building and that may happen. Overall, I would definitely return as we enjoyed our stay immensely. Being able to walk downtown and various dining options and the beach all in one was great!

Perfect location

Our room was above the bar and there was a DJ playing till past 10pm. The sound carried through to the room. There was no kettle or proper cups. The floor was a little sticky and the room was sparse.

Beautiful property and location!

Perfect location! Just walk across the street and you are at the beach. Walking distance to everything in short sands. Outside sitting area a plus. As others have said and we knew live music was going to happen but being just one level above it louder than we could ever imagine 9:30-1 No microwave or chairs in living area

Room was very nice, clean. Extremely limited parking, blocked by others vehicles. Very noisy until 1 am on a Tuesday night. Convenient to Short Sands beach.
-
Live music until midnight each night, quite loud in the room but maybe the top floor rooms don’t have this issue as much.
-
Close proximity to the beach The bathroom could have been bigger

We had the best time at Inn on the blues! The owners are wonderful! Everyone in town loves them. It is true that if you want to go to sleep before midnight on weekends, this may not be the place for you, but we loved everything about this place and will be back!
