Anchorage Inn and Resort

We stayed in the atrium with the 3rd pool it was nice and clean.

Ocean room was great

Resort was in a perfect location located right across the street from the beach. The hotel grounds and landscaping were well cared for and our kids loved the pools and waterslide. Perfect for families.

We extended our stay due to the easy access to the beach and the comfort of the room. We ate twice at the restaurant across the road due to the location and the delicious food! Will be back soon!

Great location with view of ocean from our room. Indoor and outdoor pool was nice when not at the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The 3rd floor rooms are a bit small and dated but we only slept there...too much to do around the area. Finally, the pool areas are fantastic. Service was top notch.

The rooms could definitely use some love but the view and beach access are really what you’re paying for. Great for a short stay.

Indoor and outdoor pools. Ocean and restaurant across the street. Plenty of beach. Plenty of sidewalk to get some exercise and see the ocean.

Thank god for staff that helped us upgrade to the Atrium with no extra charge.

My only complaint is lack of daily room cleaning. I had trash and wet towels which I didn't know what to do with.

Great location across from the beach, room was small compared to others we have stayed in, no chairs in the room, no clean up unless requested, had to get cleaned towels by request at the office and picking them up yourself. Some desks people were not up on help for new guests, We looked for our room for fifteen minutes and finally had to ask another associate.

That said, I would not recommend a first-floor room near the pool entrance for families with older children or for anyone looking for a quieter stay. The walls seemed fairly thin, and with no staff regularly monitoring the Atrium building, noise from the pool area carried easily into the rooms. The main pool area also could have been better maintained throughout the day. It was common to see used towels and garbage left behind by guests, making the area feel messy. While I understand it's a busy, family-friendly resort, more frequent cleanup and monitoring would have made the experience much more enjoyable. Overall, the Anchorage Inn remains a fun destination because of its beachfront location and variety of pools. I enjoyed staying in the Atrium building, but next time I would request a room on an upper floor or farther from the pool for a more relaxing experience.
