The Grandview Hotel

We loved the view! And we loved that we could walk to the beach and some of the restaurants. Everything was clean and we had plenty of towels and coffee supplies. The only negative was the bathroom. There was mold present around a soft spot in the floor outside the tub. Also there was rust in the tub fixtures. One of my sisters is extremely allergic to mold. She was only able to stay 2 nights. If she was there for all 5, we would have had to change rooms.

The staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking behind the hotel, with excellent access to the 2nd & 3rd floor rooms. the beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows unlike some places that skimp out on them. Would definitely recommend this place.

The room smelled like urine, there was no cable tv, ac was run by a remote control which did not tell you how or what to choose everything looked dirty.

Great view

Room was updated but old window a/c unit leaked water into our room the entire time. Stairs are questionable. You can see they are working to make the property better and with the current economic climate and tariffs on and off driving prices higher for construction it will take time… has potential and owners appear to want to make it better

You are definitely paying for the location and view in this motel. Beds are way too soft, We were on the 3rd floor and had to walk up the stairs around the back of the building. No elevator on the property. Pool is about the size of most hot tubs. Should be $200 a night not almost $500

The view and location are just amazing. Beach nearby and many places to eat. A bit worn and needs some fixing at places.

Cars blocked the view of the ocean

The property was clean, the room was spacious. The view of the beach and ocean was fantastic. While we didn’t use them, they also provided beach chairs for use, beach was right across the street. There were several restaurants within walking distance. We were on the third floor, so there are stairs. You can get just as good view from 2nd floor, even the first floor has nice view.

A lot of construction going on, made the property look unkept.

The room was clean. Water pressure in shower was good. The day we arrived on July 9, 2026 all kinds of construction was going on at motel, part of putting in a elevator. The staff was friendly. The pool had paint chips floating in the bottom of it so it was a turnoff from using. The view from bedroom was excellent, could see the beach well and Nubble Lighthouse. Ask for a lower level room if climbing 40 steps to 3rd floor is a challenge.

Location and great customer service

Beautiful scenery right on the Beach Front. The bottom floor rooms are the closest you can get to the Ocean from any room along Long Sands Beach. Only downside was the back of the Hotel is under Construction.

The staircase that led to our room on the third floor was extremely narrow and the lights placed on the steps for night time hinder walking down the steps. We also had one morning when we had no hot water.

Clean nice room with great balcony and gorgeous ocean views. Easy walk to beach and resturant. AC worked well during heat wave. Mattress was good, not excellent. Stairs in back of hotels are only way access rooms and are steep and narrow.
