Best Western Plus York Hotel & Conference Center

We just stayed overnight as passing thru, but this is a very nice, well run hotel. Breakfast was nice, and had a beautiful open space away from the lobby. Having Applebees right in the restaurant was a bonus. Room was spacious, clean, modern, and quiet. We will definitely choose to stay here again if we pass through York.

Our stay was overall good . Our bed was a little too firm and pillows a bit too full but our room was clean which we appreciated most. One detail the cleaners could improve on is grouting on the tile flooring which needs attention for cleanliness. We were hoping for a hot tub but there was not one but the pool looked clean but didn’t use. The breakfast was a slight disappointment because we expected a bit more than standard we see at most hotels but this was a Best western Plus and the full breakfast was just mediocre. Oatmeal wasn’t offered and just the standard preprocessed egg with cheese and the usual low grade sausage and waffles or toast or bagel. We would stay here again and my posts are not meant to discourage travelers. Just my observation. It’s a nice hotel overall.

Clean, quite rooms, with comfortable beds. Hotel showing it's age but still kept up nicely. Applebee's closed several hours before website said it should. Breakfast decent but very crowded and hard to get what you wanted.

Everything was good and great staff

Clean,basic motel room. Everything seemed fresh and in great condition. Good breakfast.

Traveling with dog. The area outside parking lot is amazing. I work in parks and I wish our grass was that lush. Breakfast was amazing.

Parking was convenient and the staff was very helpful. Also loved that Applebees was connected to the hotel.

We made last minute reservations online. We needed a hotel that would accept a dog. We were happy to have found this one. Check in was quick and smooth. The young man was helpful. I was disappointed our BW members program was not accepted since we made the reservation via 3rd party. Oh well. This hotel is old. Our room was clean, but smelled musty. The furniture was really worn. The bed base and frame was heavy duty metal. I hit my shins a few times. The bedding was ok. The mattress slept well. Guessing the room had vinyl flooring due to it being a "pet room". The floor was clean but very warped and appeared to be water damaged. The bathroom was the best part of the entire room. It was obviously recently updated. Nice and clean. The breakfast was average. Overall, we felt the room was overpriced considering the lack of quality. Thinking possibly the non pet rooms are nicer?

Decent location. Free breakfast wasn’t that great. Linens were clean but bathroom was dingy.

This is always our midpoint stop it’s clean. It’s easy to get to convenient and have a Applebee’s inside the restaurant so it’s a one stop shop right across the road. It’s where you can get fuel I think at a convenience store truckstop.

Room was clean and comfortable - enjoyed our 2nd stay here - will stay again next year.

Low budget hotel. Was fine for one night with my family. Wouldn’t stay there longer. Needed towels for my shower in the morning and staff couldn’t get in to the room to get some. Told me to get a towel from the pool area which there were none. Could have tried a little harder to come up with a solution. Breakfast was decent, pancake machine was out of order. Pool are was dirty. The room itself was fairly clean. Applebees closed early which was disappointing.
