Motel 6 York, NE

Go to a different hotel ,this place was not to good and l will never go back, even the price was a disappointing ,to high after a added fee ,couldn't hardly understand the man at the desk

The property needs a wrecking ball or a refurbishment, it appeared not open when I arrived. Horrible smell of garbage all around the property

If I didn’t need sleep after a 12 hour drive, I would have never stayed there. Terrible place.

The person working the front desk was excellent because they were nice and allowed us late check out for free, but besides that, this hotel was a nightmare. The hotel itself was pretty torn up. When we parked to take our belongings inside, there were homeless people sleeping in a car by the door. We had trouble finding our room because the room number wasn't written down. Once inside the room, we were greeted with peeling linoleum and moldy baseboards. I ended up stepping on a small piece of glass, and my boyfriend found a cockroach on the wall. The bed wasn't very comfortable and only had two pillows, which isn't normal for a king. The outlet by the bed was broken and wouldn't hold my charger. All night we were awoken by trucks driving past our window, which we were unable to lock and could have been easily opened from the outside. Around 10am someone tried to enter our room without knocking or announcing themselves. Always use the security lock. The deadbolt doesn't keep out people with a keycard. I looked out the peephole and the hallway was dark. There were two women randomly opening and closing room doors. Idk if they worked there, but it was concerning. I fixed the lock and went back to bed but couldn't fall asleep. I thought about how it was dark in the hallway, so I tried to flip on the light. Nothing. The power was out and stayed out. Maybe it's still out now, idk, but I've never had that happen before. If we hadn't got there so late at night we would have left.

The hotel was in very bad shape

They are doing no maintenance on the facility and property. I will not stay there again.

The motel looks abandoned when you walk in to check in stinks with bad food older ice machine is out of order holes in the wall the room smells moldy me and my kids had trouble breathing good thing we was only there for a few hours it's not worth 90 bucks

They are remodeling and using rooms that are not ready.

Room was super dirty. When we pulled back the thin sheets there was hair in our bed - like lots of human hair and debris. Front desk gave us two brand new fitted sheets at least. So many dead bugs and cobwebs under the AC unit and the AC unit sounded like it was going to take off and go to the moon it was so loud and rattly. Only two towels in the room and it was a double queen bed room. Washing machines were all broke down but no sign telling me that so they at least refunded me my $3 i lost. They also need to fix door 137 as it doesn’t deadbolt lock but it wouldn’t have matter because I had to put my shoulder and weight into the door to get it open. The back door to get into the hotel was broke (like no card reader) so anyone could just come in unaccounted for. Was hard getting a good nights sleep that’s for sure. I definitely feel hosed paying $100 for the stay. Was not even worth $30. They really need to bleach their towels/sheets and pillow cases. Lots of noticeable stains

This was the worst hotel/ motel that I've ever stayed at. When we drove into the parking lot, the left building was gutted and looked ready to be demolished. No lights on. It looked like it was not open for business. I walked up to door and there was a person inside at the desk. She checked me in and gave me the room key. The hallway to the room smelled like rot and weed. I had a hard time opening the door, it would only open by pulling up on the handle and it got stuck often. The inside was filthy! The floors were sticky and black with dirt. There were live bugs in the sink. Roaches on the floor. Sheets had not been washed and the pillows were super small and in no way considered a full size pillow. The window would not lock or secure and was full of dead bugs. The toilet was dirty and stained. The shower did not have any cold water, only scalding and super scalding. Could not take a shower. Tried to go get ice and found the machine out of order. Need I say more?? Don't waste your money!!

Neat clean and quiet Ice machine didn't work. 2nd time staying here and no ice either time

Bed was comfy Nothing worked the lights only 2 worked the skink didn’t work was broken the bed had no bottom sheets there was no towels and the one that was in there was used and there was roaches

Room clean. Bed very comfortable Ice machine out of order. Door kept sticking. Hard to open

Nothing Dirty, and remote for TV was not in room and then gave us one and couldn’t control volume and was on loud.

Horrible, do not stay here. It felt very unsafe. The bed was dirty. The front desk staff was sleeping on the floor

Room was pretty clean & comfortable for 1 night stay. Building looked like it was abandoned & dirty on the outside & dirty through the inside.

There was no breakfast, my reservation thru BOOKING.COM was canceled and refunded but NOBODY KNEW WHERE MY MONEY WENT SO SOMEONE KEPT MY MONEY and "oh NOBODY KNEW WHERE IT WENT" My reservation was canceled and "refunded" however it was never received by BOOKING.COM. Most of the agents were very rude and very unhelpful. There was no supervisor available and when they "called me back, my phone number was disconnected" WHICH WAS A LIE!!!!!! The hotel was also in the process of removing and replacing carpet squares and it smelled really bad.
