Very affordable stay, the staff was lovely!

Room 108 has a loud whining noise that comes from outside that is irritating. I have stayed in this room before and was disturbed by the noise but ignored it and accepted that is was a fluke but now I know it wasn't. Using the kiosk is a joke, takes too long staff took forever and when finally getting my key I found out it didn't work and had to go get another one. I have stayed there many times in the past but I will no longer stay there. over the last 8 years I have stayed there at least 22 times and since it has changed from Bonanza to Red Roof I have seen a downgrade in cleanliness and staff effectiveness. The turn over is a lot higher than it used to be so I question how good is the management team.

The breakfast could have been better the coffee machine was broken and everything was waffles cereal of pastries and they didn’t look fresh. Some hot scramble eggs and sausage would have been nice. The staff was okay I think because of the location they are on the lookout for homeless twice they asked me were I was going even they they had checked me in.

$30.00 extra to check in befor 3pm. Was ridiculously unnecessary. And, ill discontinue using Red Roof for my future travel need because of it.

Staff member was off the charts with her help, friendliness and very cheerful. She answered every question we had and was very pleasant in doing so. We will definitely stay here again. We were sad the pool was not open - but we will still go back.

It was so quiet. Was able to get good night's rest.

Gentleman working the desk suggesting that I should keep the air conditioner at 84 degrees to sleep. I'm there for one night! Also, after mentioning that most of the residents were local, not a problem in itself, his repeated questioning on yes I was alone, no I did not have any pets had me worried that I had booked a room at a hook up motel. Fortunately, the night was quiet. Morning staff was very helpful & professional.

Exceptional

This is a very easy reasonably priced place to stay. It is clean and where we were, it was quiet. We were in Yuba City to help my elderly parents for 3 nights and were thrilled with the ease and comfort. The beds are clean and comfortable. While there some minor signs of wear in spots, there are some updated extras like reading lights and easy to use air conditioner/heater - important in Yuba! The fridge is a decent size, with a microwave and 1 cup at a time coffee machine. We didn't get to the breakfast so can't comment, but the staff were friendly and informative. We will stay again.
